Abstract
Because of the increasing importance in recent yeary of using composite material generally , and polymeric composite material in particular in different advanced industrial application , an experiment work was carried out to investigate the most important characteristics which are related to the polymeric composite materials .
In this research unsaturated polyester resin (up) was used as a (matrix) for composite material while the reinforcement used was Cotton fiber .
The specimens of composite material were prepared by hand lay-up from fiber with volume fraction of (0% , 5% , 15% , 20% , 30% , 40%) the mechanical tests included (Flexural strength) nodules , tensile strength , and Impact ) Flexural strength and modulus were found to increase with cotton constriction , where as tensile strength and Impact were found to decrease at higher concentrations .

Abstract
The aim of this work is to study the Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of binding of 125I-testosterone to its receptors in ovarian tumor homogenates. It is very important to know the kinetic and thermodynamic parameters for hormones because the binding of testosterone to the its receptor initiates a signaling cascade that results in nuclear translocation of the liganded receptor and transcriptional modulation of target genes. Two groups of ovarian tumor patients were included in this study. Group I contained 33 patients with benign ovarian tumor. Group II consisted of 22 patients with ovarian cancer. Time-course of the association of 125I-testosterone with its receptor in human ovarian tumors at four different temperatures revealed the time and temperature dependency (8hrs with 25oC for benign and 8hrs 37oC for malignant). Association kinetics indicated pseudo first order kinetics for the binding. Time-courses, Scatchard, Van't Hoffs and Arrhenius plots led to the theoretical determination of thermodynamic parameters of both the standard state (i.e., H, G, S) and transition state (i.e., H*, G*, S*).

Abstract
Radiative recombination rate coefficient and photoionization cross sections as inverse process have been investigated for three Carbon ions (C IV, C V, C VI). The theory which has been adopted by us is based on analytic fit formula, to calculate the rate coefficient and photoionization cross sections. The agreement of the rate coefficient for our calculations compared with other theoretical data depending on the single-electron model that utilizes Dirac-Slater wave function, is very good for C IV-ion and excellent for (C V& C VI)-ions. There were no measurements available to compare our data with them for the rate coefficient, also no calculations or measurements were available for the photoionization cross sections.

Summary :
This search is concerned with synthesis of three compounds: first compound 2-(6-Aceto-2-benzothiazolylazo)-4-nitro-3-methyl phenol (ABNP) and its complexes with ions (Zn+2, Cd+2, Hg+2).Second compound 2-(6-Carboxy-2-benzothiazolylazo)-naphthol (CBN) and its complex with ion (Pb+2).Third compound 2-Thiazolylazo-naphthol (TAN) and its complexes with ions (Fe+2, Ni+2).In this studying, identifying of the optimum conditions, mole ratio (Ligand : Metal) by using Job and mole ratio methods, all compounds with its complexes were characterized by using melting points and spectrophotometric methods (Uv-Visible), (FT.IR) Spectra.

ABSTRACT :Through this study , The estimation of accumulative concentration of cadmium and lead of some organs of Barbus grypus fish hunt in Tigris – Al-Rashidiyya district – Mosul, has been done. Also, the estimation has been done in the tissues of Khnawia armenica parasite by using Atomic absorption spedrum where an abstracted difference (P≤0.05) in the accumulative concentration of cadmium and lead in the liver, Kidney, gills, muscles and intestines of infected and uninfected fish. The accumulative concentration of cadmium and lead in the tissues of parasites (300, 81.08) Mg/g respectively.

Abstract
This experiment was conducted in biology department/college of Education at AL-Qadisyia University to study the effect of different concentration of Gibberellin(50,75,100 mg/L) and Salicylic acid (20,30,40 mg/L) in addition to control and their interaction on vegetative growth, nutrient content , volatile oil as well as active substance(carvon and limonene) of Anethum graveolens L ;Local cultivar.
The design of experiment was RCBD in a factorial arrangement in four replication. And the LSD =0.05 was utilized as a method of mean separation whenever treatment effect was evident.
Vegetative growth parameters includes: stem diameter, percentage shoot and root weight, tottal chlorophyll and shoot NPK content, percentage of volatile oil in seed and carvon and limonene percentage also determined. Results showed : The use Gibberellin in (100 mg/L) or Salicylic acid (40 mg/L) increased in stem diameter , percentage of dry matter of shoot and root and total chlorophyll content. The highest percentage to nitrogen and phosphorous was at the 100 mg/L Gibberellin , while the concentration of 50 mg/L Gibberellin gave high percentage of phosphorous and the concentration of 40 mg /L Salicylic acid caused high percentage of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium . The volatile oil and the active substance (carvon and limonene ) were highly increased at the 100 mg/L Giberelline also the 40 mg/L from Salicylic acid increased volatile oil and carvon , Limonene was at highest at the 20 mg/L Salicylic acid .The interaction between Gibberelin and Salicylic acid reveald significant effect on most of vegetative criterion studed on volatile oil content and active substance especially the combination of high concentration from Gibberellin and Salicylic acid .

The present study involved collecting 240 sample of sputum from patients with pulmonary infections who visited the pulmonary disease clinic in Al-Diwaniya city from October 2010 to april 2011 from isolated and diagnostic fungi in itand test the effect of Cordia myxa(L.) progeny alcoholic and equeous extracts from it,the isolated fungi involved: penicillium spp ،Candida albicans وAspergillus niger ،A.nidulan ، A.flavu ،A.terrus ، Mucor، Pithomyces chartarum ، Coccidioides immitis and Blastomyces dermatitidis with number of isolate and the number of percenant of isolations wer: 82 -32.03%،70-27.45%، 20- 7.81%،3-1.17% ،10-3.906 ،% 2-0.78% ،1- 0.39 %،-2 0.78 %and 2- 0.78 %.respwctively.
Than the effects of antifungal from the isolated fungi show that the ketoconazole the hier inhibition at Cconcenteration 100% were respectively (2.65,2.9,2.9,4.25,2.5,2.9,3,3,3,2.5) from Aspergillus flavus و A.nidulanesو A.nigerو A.terreusو Blastomyces dermatitidis وCandida albicansو Coccidioides immitis وPenicillium sppو Mucor while at 50 % cocenteration ( 2.5 و2 و2 و 2.5 و2.1 و 2 و2.5 و 2.5 و2.8 و1 ( respectively but Nystatin have lower inhibition between the antifungal.
The effect of Cordia myxa(L.) progeny alcoholic and equeous extracts from isolated fungi semmes clear at al coholic extract than the equeous therfor show the rang of radial inhibition zone : (4,3,3,1.5,1.2,1)cm from fungi Aspergillus flavus، Blastomyces dermatitidis ،Pithomyces chartarum، A.niger، A.terreus، Coccidioides immitis respectively,while it has no effect on other fungi that :Penicillium spp ،Candida albicans ،A.nidulanes ، Mucor.

Abstract:
An experiment was conducted in a private orchard at Abbasyia , Najaf Governorate during the growing season of 2010 on fig cv. Aswad Diala . The branches at aged one year old were pruned at level of ( 25 , 50 and 75 % ) and branch removal grown at wood aged more than two years and unfruitful branches that grown at wood aged one year old .Results showed that pruning treatments and branches removal treatments and their interactions caused a significant increase in leaf aria and its total chlorophyll contents , GA3 , IAA , Zeatin, Methoxsalen in leaves and longer, dimeter and number of branches and number of node ,length of internodes and total carbohydrates percentage , N , C/ N in branches, compared to control treatment. There were a significant effect between treatment . Treatment of ( pruning of branches at aged one year old with percentage 50% + unfruitful branches removal grown on wood at age of one year old ) gave a significant effect and the highest values in the season of experiment .

Summary
Brucellosis is an endemic anthropozoonotic disease in most Middle East countries including Iraq. It causes considerable loss of economy and energy, particularly in the rural areas. Since 2006-2009 when the prevalence of brucella agglutinin from human , sheep ,cattle and goat was reported in wasit, several time have been conducted including serological studies of brucellosis in the wasit provinces of Iraq (suwayra, Aziziya, Alnomaniya, hay,Kut ,Shake sade). Humans, sheep, goats and cattle have been involved. The studies accure in microbiology lab. In alkarmha hospital teaching& appear the percentage of infection is high inhumin in2006 (11.5%) &lower infection in 2008 (5.2&) but in cattle ( 11.1%) and in sheep &goat (23.5%). The study included sensitive test and identification of susceptible Brucella species, to drug including chloraphenicol, streptomycin ,nitrofutantion ,nalidixic acid &garamycin but resistant to oxcillin &evaluate the antibacterial activity of olive oil against the brucella isolated from the animal & humane in kut / Iraq .

Abstract: record in the present work Branchiura sowerbyi one type of annelida class oligochaeta family of Tubificidae for the first time in the sediments of the Shatt al-Hilla which is one of important branches of the Euphrates River has been found that highest total population density for this kind was in the second site, which lies on the line length 44 ° 25'02 .27 "east longitude 32 ° 31'51 .34" N and reached 2054.48 per individual/ m 2, and the results showed significant differences in the values of total density between stations and months P <0.05 and recorded correlation relationship direct between values of population density and salinity P< 0.05 and inverse correlation relationship with dissolved oxygen values P <0.05.

ABSTRACT
Examined atotal of 305 Cyprinus carpio from The AL-Shark AL-Awsat fish farm in Babylon province during the period from April 2011 till November 2011 for ectoparasitic infiction fauna. The inspection results showed the occurrence of nine species of ectoparasites which included of Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, Trichodina cotidarum, T. nigra, Haemogregarina sp., Emeria mylopharygnyodon, Dactylogyrus Vastator, D. simplex, D. proprnquus and D. arcuatus, The Cyprinus carpio incousidered as anew host in Iraq for Haemogregarina SP. fish infection with these parasites increased with increasing fish length (age).

Summary
In laboratory bioassays to determine the toxicity of crude alkaloid extracts of Nerium oleander leaves to whitefly Bemisia tabaci . Crude alkaloids applied at concentrations of 0.1 , 0. 2 , 0.5 , 1 , 2 % . The egg was generally the least susceptible stage to all test treatments.The results indicated that the concentration of 2 % was the most effective . At this concentration eggs mortality reached 51.35 % in crude alkaloids , differences in nymphal mortality according to age was observed at all concentrations of alkaloid extract , the first larval instar and second namphal stadium had higher mortality when treated with alkaloid extract at concentrations of 1% and 2% than third nymphal stadium . Pupal and adults mortality reached 84.66 % and 71.84% when treated with crude alkaloids at concentration of 2% respectively .Cumulative mortality reached 100 % at concentration of 1 % and 2 % in second and third nymphal stadia when treated with crude alkaloids . Development time of immature stages of B. tabaci also , affected by the application of crude alkaloids extracts of N. oleander leaves , generally development period prolonged in all treatments of alkaloids as compared with control treatment .

Effect of white blood cells on sperm parameters and semen for Asthenozoo spermic infertile patients .

Abstract
This study was performed on (80) patient complaining from Asthenozoospermia. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect and relationship between white blood cells and each of sperm and semen parameters .
The result of this study was revealed a significant decrease (p<0.01) in semen volume sperm concentration, sperm motility percent and sperm grade activity while the result showed significant increase( p<0.01 ) of liqufaction time . The results were revealed no significant effect of normal sperm morphology percent . In conclusion , the leukocyte effect in sperm and semen parameters that related with men ability for fertilization and pregnancy rates .

Study the effects of Cadmium Chloride on some organs tissues of female Albinus Rat

Abstruct:
The current study was carried out in the animal house of the College of Medicine in University of Kufa. It was conducted also in the laboratories of histopathology and biochemistry in Al-sadir Educational Hospital and Higher Education laboratory in the College of Education for girls / Kufa University, during the period 25/10/2008 – 19/3/2009. It was designed to demonstrate the influence of acute dose of Cadmium Chloride (75mg/kg) and oral subchronic administration (10,20,30) mg CdCl2/L with drinking water for the periods (3,6,9) weeks in duodenum , liver and kidney tissues of female albinus rat .
Acute and subchronic administrations demonstrates hypertrophy in the striated columnar epithelial cells covering the villi of duodenum and enlarged paneth cells of intestinal glands with vacuolated cytoplasm. Similar changes occur in subchronic administration ranged between mild to moderate and some times severe when dosing level and duration are elevated. The result of acute administration in liver tissue demonstrates hypertrophy, necrosis, elongated and enlarged cells in different areas of liver tissues, also appears interstitial infiltration in portal triad region and hyperaemia in some of the sinusoids with kupffer cell. The result of subchronic administration had similar changes ranging between : mild, moderate and severe sometimes to those in acute administration with blurring of radiated structure of liver cells cords. Acute administration of kidney tissue reveals hyperaemia, enlargment, swelling, shrinkage in some glomeruli in the cortex, while in proximal tubules there appear cell hypertrophy and necrosis. Moreover, one or two regions of medulla demonstrate hyperaemia and cell casts in the lumen of renal tubules. Subchronic effects range between mild to moderate and rarely severe when dosing level and duration are elevated, it is sometimes noticed that in the same section there are shrinkage of glomeruli and expansion of capsule, hypertrophy, hyperaemia and necrosis of proximal tubules, alienation epithelial cell and diffusion of inflammatory cell, while medulla show hypertrophy and necrosis of epithelial cell and interstitial tissues fibrosis.

Abstract
Stopping power for proton interaction with Aluminum, Beryllium and Carbon for energies range from 1 to 12 MeV has been studied. The numerical calculations and analysis of Bethe, Ziegler equations, SRIM and PSTAR software was done using Matlab program. Results of the four methods are presented as tables and figures. We formulate three different power equations expressing the stopping power values in terms of the studied energy range.

Abstract
In this work the new azo ligand prepared was 2-[2--(6-Methyl benzothiazolyl)azo]-4-Hydroxy phenol (MeBTAHP) by coupling reaction between 6-Methy-2-benzo thiazolyl diazolyl diazonium chloride with 4-hydroxy phenol in alkaline alcoholic sulotion.New six complexes of Co(III),Ni(II),Cu(II),Zn(II),Cd(II) and Hg(II) were synthesis and characterized by Uv-vis spectra , in Frred spectra ,electronic spectra,magnetic susceptibility and molar conductance measurements. Measurements were conducted appint a constant stability the complexes and spectral methods were stability in the following order Co(III) < Cd(II)

Abstract
Some physico-chemical properties of East Euphrates Drainage with effectes of Epipelic Algae were studied during the period from Sept-ember 2010 to August 2011.
Three Sites were selected , the water quality of the Drainage was alkaline, very hard, oligohaline and well oxygenated,Few species were identified during most studied period such as ( Amphiprora alata, A.costata,Nitzschiagracilis,N.longissima,N.acicularis,Mastogloiasmithii , ,M.elliptic,Oscillatorialimnetica,Euglenapolymorpha)Among the 125 species algal taxa were identified, the dominance was to Bacillariophyceae (83 taxa) represented 66.4% followed by Cyanophyceae 19.2 % then Euglenophyceae 9.6%.

Abstract
This study include synthesis of new organic reagent 2-[(3-Hydroxy phenyl)azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole (3-HPADPI) and used it as complexing agent for extraction of Cu2+ ion from aqueous solutions. The results show the optimum pHex=8, optimum concentration of Cu2+ ion was 40µg in 5mL aqueous phase and the optimum shaking time was 10min. Stoichiometry study illustrated the complex structure was 1:1 Cu2+:(3-HPADPI). Effect of cations interferences was studied. Synergism effect show MIBK gave increasing of distribution ratio (D). The study of organic solvents effect appear there is not any linear relation between dielectric constant (ε) of organic solvents used and distribution ratio (D). Thermodynamically appear that the reaction was Endothermic reaction with ΔHex=0.000062 KJ.mole-1, ΔGex=-51.46 KJ.mole-1, ΔSex= 159.31 J.mol-1.K-1.

Abstract
A new complexes of Mn(II), Co(II),Ni(II) and Cu(II) with mixed ligands of bipyridyl and tyrosine. All prepared compounds were identified by atomic absorption, (C.H.N) analysis, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. From the above data the octahedral structure was suggested for all prepared complexes
