Surface Recombination Velocity of the LPE Grown P (Al.86 Ga.l4 As) -P (GaAs)-N (GaAs) Solar Cells

Photolumincsccncc (PL) measurements were earried out on Liquid-phase epitaxy (LPE) grown P(A1.86Ga.14As)-P(GaAS)-N(GaAs) solar cells in the temperature range 10-350K.By the PL measurements analysis and using a simple theoretical model, we evaluate the surface recombination velocity at the GaAs p-n junction surface as a function of temperature.
Our results indicate that surface recombination is not playing an important role in the heterojunction device , and show that the surface recombination velocity at the (GaAs) p-n junction surface is proportional to Exp (-Ea/KT) with activation energies Ea of 3.5 meV to 13 meV in the temperature range studied.

Removal of Titan Yellow GR from Water Using Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) in the Presence of Suspended ZnO as a Catalyst

UV/ZnO process was used to degrade titan yellow GR indicator which is the type of azo dyes., The effect of some parameters in the photocatalytic degradation of dye by UV/ZnO process such as: UV irradiation time, pH, the concentrations of both dye, bromate anion and ethanol were examined. First order reaction rate constant was calculated and it was found to be to 9x10-3 min-1. It was observed that the increasing in the irradiation time increased dye removal while the increasing in the concentrations of both dye in the range from 20 to 70mg/L and ethanol in the range from1 to 7mM decreased the efficiency of photoreaction. The effect of pH (from 1 to 11) on the photodegradation process of dye was studied and the maximum efficiency of the degradation was at neutral pH (pH=7). It was found that the increasing in the dye removal was regular when the concentration of bromate anion increased from 1 ـــ 3 mM. While at the higher concentrations of bromate anion (above 4 mM), the decreasing in the dye removal was also regular and the maximum dye removal was at 4mM. Also the adsorption isotherms such as: Langmuir and Freundlich were studied and were identical with the Langmuir model.

The land cover and land use distribution maps have been obtained. The land cover map contains seven major classes which are: Reed, Palm Forest, Barren area, Urban area, Vegetation, Water bodies, and Sabkha, while the land use map contains seventeen classes which are: Old City , Roads, Built Up-Area, Parking, Army Section, Cemetery, Apartment Exuded, Healthy Services, Educational Services, University Building, Main Public Building, Green Section, Sports Stadium, Recreation Ground, Market, Artificial Section and Palm Forest.
The urban structures were distinguished accurately from others. The types of urban uses were acceptable and distinguished. Residential uses are big in comparison with other urban uses. Industrial uses are clearly little in comparison with city size.

This is first study which demonstrates the parasitic fauna from the digestive system of Blatta orientalis that are new records in Al-Samawa city, Iraq. 20 samples were collected from different sites of this city then transfer to parasitic laboratory in Biology Department of Science college of Al-Muthanna university to perform special diagnostic procedures for investigation of digestive parasites from November 2010 to April 2011. the parasitic fauna were one protozoan ciliates and one nematode. One of ciliates Nyctotherus ovalis was the most common and prevalent species. The nematode was Thylastoma sp. The infected rates were 25% and 10% respectively. Additionally, this study highlights various morphological details.

Study comparison for haematological and biochemical changes in Ducks infected with Amidostomum anseris

The study was conducted to determine of haematological and biochemical changes in ducks infected with nematoda worm Amidostomum anseris and compared with control group , 52
samples of ducks were collected at Village subsequent of Al-Diwaniya city as well as city center .
Birds divided in to four groups : G1 represent control group , G2 birds with light infection , G3 birds with mediate infection , G4 birds with severe infection .
Haematological parameters include count total red blood corpuscles (Erythrocytic ) and white blood corpuscles (Leucocytic), packed cell volume%(P.C.V) and Haemoglobin concentration (Hb), biochemical parameters include measurement of total protein(T.P) concentration , total Cholestrol concentration(T.C) and Triglyceride(T.G) .
The results of blood examination showed that total erthrocytic count , Packed cell volume and haemoglobin (Hb) percentage decreased significant in infected groups , The total leucocytic count showed significant increased in all infected groups. also result showed that total protein concentration decreased significant in G2,G3,G4 as compared with G1. while total cholestrol and triglycerides decreased gradual in serum blood of all infection birds .

In this study, a new organic compound 7,10,10-trimethyl-3-selena-4,5-diaza-tricyclo[3.2.1.0]deca-2-(6)-4-diene (4) that contain 1,2,3- selendiazole heterocyclic ring have been prepared from the reaction of commercially available organic compound (camphor).
The compound (4) have been confirmed by using IR,13C-NMR, 1HNMR & Elemental analysis techniques.
This compound is expected to have an important uses as antibacterial and antifungal because it contains 1,2,3- selendiazole heterocyclic ring.

A base line study of determination and distribution of Total petroleum hydrocarbon in Euphrates river in Nasiriya city

A base line study of the distribution of total petroleum hydrocarbon in Euphrates river in Nasiriyah city have been determined spectrofluorometrically. the present work entitled sampling water from Euphrates river between AL Btha and Sug AL Shuik. Their concentration were found to vary between ( 0.08-1.26 µ g/l) ( Basra oil equivalents).the results suggest that the total petroleum hydrocarbon present in this area originated from low diverse sources. The hydrocarbon amounts tend to be highest in January (1.26 µ g/l) a lowest in July (0.08 µ g/l).
Introduction:
Water pollution is considered as the most complex problem because of its wide defects and its close relationship to human and its diffusion(1). Hydrocarbon are one of the main subject of pollutants for water, have several sources which can classified either as anthropogenic or biogenic. Major sources of petroleum hydrocarbon enter into water by many routs of various activities such as oil refineries offshore oil production , transportation and tanker accidents(2).Moreover, river runoff, urban runoff , municipal wastes and inland industrial wastes were also found signification input of petroleum hydrocarbon and derivative entering the environment.
Euphrates is the most important river and sources of fresh water in the arid surrounding of Nasiriya city.
The objective of the present study are to determine the original distribution of total petroleum hydrocarbon in Euphrates river and to evaluate the role Euphrates river as a sources of oil pollution for the shatt Al-Arab river.
In order to accomplish these aims, four sampling sites were selected to represent different region of Euphrates river. A reference stations was chosen at the Euphrates river Al Batha areas included in the present survey and their positions are show (figure 1) . The palmprint is one of the most reliable physiological characteristic that can be used to distinguish between individuals. palmprints from 250 individuals have been classified using principle lines by a novel algorithm from our results the database containing 250 palmprints ,the distributions of categories ( 1-6). The proportions of these six categories(1-6) in our database containing 250 palmprint are 0%, 0.4%, 2.4%, 23.2%,70.8%3.2% respectively. And classified the common type which was category 5 to five categories (A-E).The proportion of these five categories are 0%,2.89%,39.88%,37.57%,19.65% respectively.

Study on effect of Vitamin C and E (normal and double dose) on skin wounds healing in experimental rats wistar albino

This present study was investigated the effect of certain nourishing factors such as vitamin C and E (normal and double dose) on skin wounds healing in Laboratory rats.
Total number of animals were (90) divided into (3) groups, with (30) rats in each. All animals were wounded on dorsal back within an area of (4cm2). Animals of fist group (GI) were treated after wounded intraperitoneally with 250mg ⁄ kg of vitamin C while control animals in this group treated with 0.01ml ⁄ gm of distilled water, where’s the animals of second and third groups (Gll,Glll)covered daily with normal dose of vitamin E(30mg ⁄ kg) and double dose (60mg ⁄ kg) respectively , while the wounds of control animals in these two groups covered with Vaseline only.Macroscopically changes accompanying wounds healing in both treated and control animals were daily recorded, also histological changes like average of inflammatory cells(Neutrophils and macrophages), Number of Fibroblasts, adipocytes density in addition to angiogenesis during healing was evaluated.Results clarified the effect of nourishing factors on collagen deposition , regeneration of skin layers and hair follicles appearance during periods (2,4,8,12,15,21) days post-wounding.
Wounds treated with vitamin C and normal dose of vitamin E showed early healing signs represented by sever hyperemia, redness, dryness of wounds edges and formation of scar tissue without scars and traces compared to control animals.
The study referred to an inhibition effect of double dose of vitamin E as wounds kept partially opened till the (15th) day with formation of scars and traces in the positions of wounds.
Data also shown an increase with significant difference (P<0.05)in rate of neutrophils and macrophages during (2nd) and (4th) days post-wounding in animals treated with vitamin C and double dose of vitamin E compared to animals treated with normal dose of vitamin E and control animals.
Proliferation of inflammatory cells gradually decreased in all wounds except that treated with double dose of vitamin E, which existence of neutrophils cells continuated in wounds.
The study elaborated as well as the effect of nourishing factors on regeneration of epidermis and dermis layers within the wounds of animals treated compared to control animals.
The histological sections shown complete regeneration of both treated wounds and control occurs on 21 days post-wounding.
Also the results of histological investigation stressed the role of these factors in the appearance of hair follicles, vitamin C and normal dose of vitamin E have positive role in the early appearance of hair vesicles during (4th) days post-wounding compare with wounds treated with double dose of vitamin E which hair follicles appeared till the (12th) day and control wounds on eight day.

Oxidative stress with subsequent production of reactive oxygen species has been postulated as one of the mechanisms of naphthalene toxicity . In the present study ,the effect of oral administration of the natural antioxidant and free radical scavenger , alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa (300mg/kg),has been investigated in rats following the concomitant administration of naphthalene (1g/kg)and measured of selective parameters indicative of liver function .Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphates (ALP), and total protein(TP) . Naphthalene hepatotoxicity was evident by the significant elevation of rats serum activities of ALT,ALP, and significant depression of TP .on the other hand ,concurrent administration of alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa significantly attenuated the naphthalene-induced disturbances in serum liver function enzymes , and significant elevation of TP. In conclusion ,that alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa appears to be a potent candidate to ameliorate the oxidative stress and hepatotoxicity associated with naphthalene in rats and change in some biological markers related to liver disease.

A study of some Sero-epidemiological aspect on Toxoplasma gondii in Al-Qadisiyia province/ Iraq

This study was confirmed that Toxoplasma gondii infections are endemic in Iraq, and toxoplasmosis represent a serious problem in Al-Qadisiyia province, so the study was carried out in the period between January 2011 and July 2011, in an attempt to investigate some epidemiological and immunological aspects in patient of Al-Diwania city infected with Toxoplasma gondii compared to healthy control group.
About 332 blood samples were collected from women with age range from 1-50 years old who attend to maternity and pediatrics hospital in Diwanyia, Al-Shamia hospital, Al-Hamza hospital, Afak hospital and some particular laboratories in this province.The samples of patients were 290 women, while the samples of control group 42.
Epidemiological study showed that the prevalence and incidence of Toxoplasma gondii was 63% by using LAT. and 60% by using ELISA-IgG, while by using ELISA-IgM was 34%. The prevalence was increased with age especially between 20-30 years old (68.2%) and between 30-40 years old (68%) by using LAT., 20-30 years old (65%) by using ELISA-IgG, 10-20 years old (61.9%) by using ELISA-IgM. Geographical distribution of sero-markers was noticed in all parts of the province especialy in the center of the province Al-Diwanyia city and Al-Hamza area. In Al-Diwanyia the prevalence of infection with toxoplasmosis appeared 47% and 20% in Al-Hamza area by using LAT, while by using ELISA-IgG was 48% in Al-Diwanyia and 20% in Al-Hamza, and 38% in Al-Diwania , 23% in Al-Hamza area by using ELISA-IgM.

Astudy of Plasmid Contents of P.aeruginosa and thers relation to Antibiotic resistance

Two- hundred clinical samples from burns infection with wounds, ear, nose, and upper respiratory tract were collected from the in- and out-patients of Al-Diwaniya Teaching Hospital and Al-Diwaniya paediatric and Cynecology Hospital from October 2010 to March 2011.
One hundred and fifty samples gave positive teaching results of bacterial growth (75%) depending on the cultural and microscopic features, the biochemical tests and confirmative (Vitek) system to get a presice diagnosis .
Thirty Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates (20%) were identified. The snsceptibility of this bacteria tow and antibiotics was tested. The bacteria showed a high resistance to nine antibiotics; while the sensitine to Ciprofloxacin was 46.66%.
Fifteen isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were selected to study the plasmid profile based on their resistance to antibiotics profile . The results revealed that 10 isolates contained small and large plasmid bands. Also, these isolates showed various levels of resistance to antibiotics. However, 5isolates did not contain any plasmid bands and they showed amulti- resistance to antibiotics.

Effect of terpenoid extract of Petroselinum crispum seed in some fertility parameters and blood parameters in white male rats.

This study was aimed to determine some of possible effects of Petroselinum crispum seed terpenoids Extract on albino male rats during effects levels hormone FSH , LH and Testosterone according to effect on spermatogenesis , body weight , the accessory glands (prostate, seminal vesicles) and some blood physiological parameters (Hb,RBC,WBC,PCV). the experiments were designed to evaluate used (40) adult male rats were randomly divided into four groups (control and three treatment ) animals of treatment group received the Petroselinum crispum seed trapenoids extract 100 , 200 and 300 mg / mg B. wt., respectively orally give 0.5 ml between day to day for 50 days while control group receive normal saline all periods treatment were recorded the body weight after and before treatment . animals were sacrified after 24 hr. last dose and heart blood sample for biochemical and physiological study and obtain testes and epididymis their according weight purpose histological study also weight prostate , seminal vesicles and compare with control group this results show:
1-A significant increase(P<0.05) in both body weight and accessory glands when compare with control group and compare between group treatment significant .
2-The result show significant increase (P<0.05) on all parameter in number of spermatogonic cells and leydig cells compare with control Group and compare between treatment group , the dose 300 mg / dl high significant and high level of testosterone ,FSH and LH .
3-A significant increase(P<0.05) in histological study parameters in spermatogenesis compare with control group .
4-A significant increase (P<0.05) in the average of Hb,RBC,PCV and compare between group treatment is significant while decrease non significant (P>0.05) in the average of WBC when compare with control group .
This study recommends that intake of the terpenoids extract of parsely seeds for male patients who suffer from sexual impotency .

Effect of some synthetic chemical compounds on Klebsiella pneumoniae

One hundred and fifty five isolates were collected from maternity and children hospital who suffer from acute and chronic pneumonia. The effect of some synthesized chemical compounds such as N-pyridine-4-ythiourea and N-(5-phenyl-1 ,3,4-oxadiazole) -2-yl) urea was studied, on growth of K. pneumoniae which isolated from case above. Twenty percentage gave positive results for K. pneumoniae growth. The synthesized compounds appeared effect on growth of bacteria about and the effect was varied according to concentration used, by measuring of zone inhibition, N-pyridine-4-ythiourea in 100µg/ml were inhibted growth of K. pneumoniae in zone inhibition diameter (23±0.8) but when use 12.5µg/ml from about compound K. pneumoniae did not response, So when used 100µg/ml from N-(5-phenyl-1 ,3,4-oxadiazole) -2-yl) urea were inhibited growth of above bacteria by zone inhibition diameter (26±0.3) and 21±0.3, 19±0.9, 14±0.6 when used (50, 25 and 12.5) µg/ml respectively.

Effect of the Spray with Different Concentrations of Organic Liquid Fertilizer (Humi Max) and the Number of Spraying on Growth and Yield of Okra Hibiscus esculentus L.

This experiment was conducted in a private field / Karbala Governorate during 2009-2010 growing season on Okra plant (Hibiscus esculentus L.) Local cultivar. The aim of the experiment was to study the effect of spraying organic liquid fertilizer (Humi Max) at different concentrations and number of sprays and their interaction on growth and yield of Okra. The experiment comprised of 12 treatments; four concentrations (0, 4, 8and12) ml.L-1 of organic liquid fertilizer (Humi Max) and three sprays (one spray, two sprays and three sprays). The experiment was carried out using Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D.) with three replications. Variations between the means were tested according to (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at 0.05.
Results showed that spraying with organic liquid fertilizer or increasing number of sprays improved vegetative growth (plant height, total vegetative dry weight) and crop yield (number of fruits per plant, weight of single fruit, plant yield and total yield). Higher concentration and more number of sprays showed better effect. The interaction between the two variables was significant. Plants that sprayed three times with concentration 12 ml.L-1 of the organic liquid fertilizer gave the highest values for all studied characteristics. The figures were (160.55 cm.plant-1 , 61.43 g.plant-1 , 82.94 fruit.plant-1 , 4.85 g , 402.25 g.plant-1 and 25.81 t.ha-1) for experiment period successively.

Physiobacteriological study of urinary tract infections of diabetic patients Type II

This study involve measurement of some haematological and biochemical parameters ,and bacteriological study of blood and urine of diabetic patients type 2 ,by which sample were collected from (40)patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 and (40) individuals as control. The study shows decreasing in both hemoglobin concentration and packed cell volume ,and significane increasing in white blood cells numbers and albumin in blood and urine ,in addition to increasing of urea in blood ,and keton in urine of diabetic patients in compatism with control group.and through of patient urine bacterial strains were diagnosed depending on the well known morphological and biochemical tests which include the strains of species (Escherichia coli , Staphylococcus saprophyticus , Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Klebsiella pneumoniae ,Proteus mirabilis ,Staphylococcus epidermidis ,Staphylococcus aureus ( 11, 9,8,5,4,2,1 ) respectiveiy.Also most of strains show high resistant to antibiotic in this study and show high sensitivity to (Amikacin,Ciprofloxacin)antibiotic , also the results show that Pseudomonas aeruoginosa and Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis were productive of all virulence factors in this study , and also all bacterial isolates were productive of urease enzyme 100% except Escherichia coli which was unproductive but productive of heamolysin enzyme , while Staphylococcus saprophyticus was productive of lipase , lecithinase and urease enzyme but unproductive of haemolysin and protease enzymes , while was producive of haemoly , protease and urease enzymes but unproductive of lipase and lecithinase enzymes.

Comparative Histological Study of Stomach in Rats , Frogs and fishes

The study include comparative histological structure of stomach among three groupes animals :rats,frogs,and fishes.Hisological results found that the stomach composed of four tunica:mucosa,sub muocosa ,muscularis,and serosa.The results found that the mucosa consist of three layers:epithelium,lamina properia ,and muscularis mucosa in rats and frogs while in fishes muscularis mucosa was absent.The epithelium layer was simple columnar epithelium tissue in all species.Gastric glands was straight tubular gland in rats and frogs when was branched and non branched alveolare glands in fishes , this glands occurs lamina properia .Sub mucosa was loss connective tissue in rats , and was fibouse connective tissue in frogs and fishes. This experiment was conducted in Biology Department of College of Science , Al-Qadisiya University during the period from 1/11/2009 to 1/4/2010.
The goal of the experiment was to find the effect of four levels of sodium chloride include 0 and 6 and 9 and 12 dsm/m and three levels of biofertilizer (Agrispoon) include 0 and 3 and 6 ml/L on growth characteristics and production of medicinal active substance ( vincristine and vinblastine ) of Catharanthus roseus ( L.) G. Don . Forty eight transplants at age of one month were transplanted in plastic pots with dimension of 15 × 20 cm (one transplant per pot) in 1/11/2009 . The Agrispoon was sprayed twice during the growing season on 1/11/200 and 1/12/2009 at the early morning on the plant shoot till complete wetness . Sodium chloride were imposed on plants when even irrigation was needed .The design of the experiment was Randomized Complete Blocks Design (RCBD) in a factorial arrangement (4×3) in four replications . The Revised Least Significant Difference ( RLSD ) was used to compare treatment means at 5 % probability level when treatment effect was significant . Results were as follow :
1-Increasing sodium chloride concentration caused a significant decrease in leaf area average and dry weight of shoot , leaves content of total chlorophyll and nutrient elements N and K/Na ratio and caused a significant increased in leaf content of proline and VIC and VIB alkaloids .
2-Increasing biofertilizer concentration caused a significant increase in all vegetative growth characteristics except that of content of proline which was significantly decreased .
3- The interaction between sodium chloride and biofertilizer caused a significant increase in leaves content of VIC and VIB alkaloids . The highest amount of VIC was 0.3400 µgm/gm dry weight of leaves and VIB 0.6829 µgm/gm dry weight of leaves were produced from the combination treatment of 12 dsm/m salt and 6 ml/L biofertilizer .

Role of Gibberellins and Forage Mixture on Dry Matter Yield and Weeds Associated with Barseem Clover( Trifolium alexandrinum L) andBarley( Hordeum vulgare L)

This agricultural experiment has been done in an experimental field belongs to college of agriculture University of Diyala during winter season 2009/2010 dated in 15/10/2010 to study the effects of Gibberellins and the forage combination (which is made of barseem Clover Var.maskawi and barley Var.Ibaa 99) in the yield of the dry matter and weeds which are companioned with barely and barseem clover. The split plot design with three replicates has been followed in this experiment. the main plots contain the two factors, the first mixture(by mixing ratio 75% barley +75% of barseem clover) and the second mixture( by mixing ratio 50%barley +100%barseem clover) while the secondary plots contained Gibberellins its concentration was (100 ppm) and without gibberellins, four mowing operations had been done during the growth period, the percentages ratio had been studied for the crops who are involving in the mixtures as same as the percentage ratio of the weeds plus the percentage ratio of the dry matter and the dry matter yield. The results had been analyzed by statistical system named SPSS.
The significant differences had been tasted among the medians according to L.S.D test at 0.05 probability level. The results of the study showed competition happing to the groups which are containing a part of the forage mixture whenever we moving forward in the mowing operation . barseem clover did recorded in the second mixture 84.15% in the fourth mowing operation but the ratio of barley reduced to 11.67% because of the influence that comes from the second mixture. GA3 and the forage mixtures effects were remarkably obvious on the competition between the couple crops and the weeds, their ratio did not cross the influential densities, so the percentage ratio was between 2.94% to7.96%. as will as the results of the study showed an ejectives increase reached in the second mixture 4.76 ton/ha which is belong to the fourth mowing operation,GA3 influence was not active on the dry matter yield while the interaction of the second mixture and GA3 was obvious in the increasing of the dry matter yield which reached the following results 3.28/ 4.17/ 4.71/ 3,04 ton/ha for the fourth mowing operation. We conclude from this experiment that the second mixture which is made of (50% of barley plus 100% of barseem clover) and GA3 100ppm proved an increase in the dry matter yield for the barseem clover and barley mixtures.

The Study of the Effect of Eggshells on the Mechanical properties of low density polyethylene (LDPE), which is manufactured in the General state company of petrochemical industries, Basrah, as function of the percentages weight of eggshells (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 50%), at particular size (<125)µm. were investigated through several variables, such as, Young's modules, strength, and elongation. The obtained results were appeared that the added eggshells act to reduce the spaces between the polymer chains, which reflects the high ability of the polymer against the applied stress, the results also appeared that (the stress-strain) curve was a cold drawn type, and a high degree of homogeneity between the host polymer and the added fillers. The percentage of elongation of this polymer decreases gradually as the percentage of these fillers increase the hardness, and this increase will give further property that increase the hardness of the prepared specimens. The increase of the filler percentages show stability at the percentage 40% and 30%, the results lead to that the strength at both break and yield will be affected little till the percentage (30%), and lowered after that with increasing the percentage also indicate an increase in young's modules with percentage of the added filler accept at the percentage 10%, which reflects the increase in the ductile of the polymer grafted with eggshells and wide range of the application for this polymer. The results also appear that the highest point of the stress is (20 N/mm2).

Evaluation Efficacy of the aquatic and alcoholic extracts of Oak freits in growth of Alternaria alternate

This study included the efficacy of the aquatic and alcoholic extracts for fruits of oak fruits (Quercus sp.) and some fungi disinfectant in the growth of Alternaria alternate that isolated from seeds of Spinacia oleracea , through their effect on radial growth and dry weight for some fungi isolated from this seeds and in germination of its spores , length of germinal tube , and also testing the effect of this treatments in germination of seeds in sterilized and unsterilized soil.
The preparation chemical detection of active ingredient shwed that aquatic and alcoholic extracts of Quercus sp. contained tannins , resins , saponins , flavonoides and venoles . The results showed that the alcoholic extracts of Quercus sp. has significant effect forgrowth of tested fungi on solid culture medium (PDA) , In measuring with controlled treatment at level of possibility 5 % also the treatment has significant inhibited effecton dry weight , germination of spores , length of germinal tube and also of in germination of Spanish seeds insterilized and unsterillized soil , and the concentration 15 % the most effect and nearest to the action of fungi disinfectant (Tapsen 50 , Diathine M 45 , Mancozeb 80) in concentration 1 gm /Lt .
The Testing of measuring Infra Red Spectrum (FTIR) showed the predence of active compound Elliagitannin and it is a tannin compound has the most effect in the inhibition of fungi and increase that belongs to venoles polymers.

The Effect of Exercise on Total blood count, Phagocytic Activity and Immunoglobulin's levels

Present work included the study of cellular and humoral immune response in athletes before and after running on treadmill. Results of cellular immune response related with differential white blood cell count indicated an increasing in mean number of neutrophils after exercise in comparison with their number before exercise but it is not significant, whearas the eosinophils and basophils did not show any significant differences in their numbers between the two intervals of study (before and after exercise). Also there is a significant elevation in numbers of monocytes after an exercise in comparison with athletes before an exercise and control group.
The study also indicated that there is non significant increasing in lymphocytes after an exercise when compared with their number before an exercise. Moreover results of total white blood cell count indicated that there is an increasing in their numbers in athletes after an exercise.
Other indicator of cellular immune response is the presence of an elevation in phagocytic activity of PMNs after an exercise in comparison with their activity before an exercise.
In relation with results of humoral immune response, present results demonstrated the significant increasing in IgM and IgA in athletes after an exercise while IgG donot revealed any significant differences in their level among the studied groups.

A new azo-azomethen ligand and its Cu(II) chelate complex were prepared after fixing the optimum condition which was intransitive to forming the complex with Cu(II) ion, such as the optimum pH and the best concentration of the ligand and metal ion. The mole ratio ( M : L ) also studied which was found ( 1 : 2 ), after that studied the biological activity for ligand and it's complex with copper ion(II(.This ligand and its chelate complex were characterized by some analytical and spectral available technique, such as (C.H.N) analyses, the percentage of metal ion in its complex, ( UV-Vis ) and (I.R) spectra, in addition of molar conductance measurement.

Effect of AL-Diwaniya Textile Factory Effluents on some of Chemical and Physical Properties of River Water in AL-Diwaniya

The present study included some physical and chemical characters in AL-Diwaniya river to show the effect of liquid industrial discharges from Textile Factory on it , the samples of water was collected at three stations from November 2010 to August 2011 .The first station was lied on the river before the Textile factory about 2 km and the second station was represented the river water that mixed with industrial discharges , while the third station was remoted from second station about 2 km. The characteristics was determined including: temperature , pH , electrical conductivity , salinity , turbidity , alkalinity , total hardness , Ca and Mg ions , dissolved oxygen and BOD5 , TDS and TSS , CL and sulphate , nutrients ( natrate , nitrite ,and phosphate ).
The results show that the values of temperature air and water , pH , electrical conductivity , salinity was (16-43.2C ; 13-32.8C ; 7.03-8.7 ; 1022-1531µS/cm ; 0.65-0.98% ) respectively and the concentration of turbidity, TDS and TSS was (7.6-47.2NTU ; 391-976mg/L ;34.2-72.91 mg/L) respectively. While the concentration of dissolved oxygen and BOD5 , alkalinity , total hardness ,Ca and Mg ions ,CL and sulphate was (3.7-7.4 ; 1.2-4.2 ; 133.8-306.8 ; 362.4-605.8 ; 92.52-166.8 ; 18.73-55.45 ; 119.6-172.8 ; 187.9-394.8 ) mg/L respectively and the concentration of nutrient was (205.7-856 ; 4-26.4 ; 0.16-48.3 )µg/L for nitrate , nitrite , phosphate respectively.
