The treatment of drinking water by chemical adsorption technical is update technical .Many researches deal with water treatment by using (Activated carbon & Ion exchangers ) as surface adsorbent for Heavy metals as the water pollution .
In this research the samples were taking from various positions from Al-Hussainia river Kerbala province and house water . The determination of ions (Ca+2 ,Mg+2 , K+ , Na+ ,Cl- , CO3-2) were carrying out by using analytical chemistry technical ( PH-meter , Conductivity and Flame photometer ) .Also in this research biological diagnosis for the specious of bacteria found in the samples were carrying out.
Study of chemical adsorption in (carbon activation & ion exchanger )was doing, through Freundlich equation application for adsorption . Adsorption constant (k) and number of adsorbent (1/n) were calculating .This study shows high qualification for chemical adsorption to remove (Ca+2,Mg+2 and CO3-2) .

Effect of Aspirin Treatment on Some Blood Properties and Body Weight in Mice

We are knew during current research result about some changes with coupling to group of white mice that number are ten .It were treated with an aspirin that is called treatment group ,add-on five mice as control group .we are saw significant increasing (p<0.05) in body weight ,WBC,ESR,urea,creatinine for aspirin treated group comparing with control group ,while we are saw significant decreasing (p<0.05) in Hb,RBC,PCV,glucose for aspirin treated group comparing with control group .

Exposure Rate MeasureMents of the Natural Background Radiation in Some Najaf Regions

Exposure rate measurements of the natural background radiation have been done in some chosen regions of Najaf city by using G-M tube .The radiation survey was conducted for the following regions:

• Al-Ansar (12 locations)
• Al -Fateh at Al-Hurya (8 locations)
• Al -Rashadya at AL-Kufa (2 locations)

The total average exposure rate in this study was (9.22 µR/h), this value is less than the permissible limits, as a comparison with the exposure rate limit for the whole body for the general public (22.61 µR/h). Each count of measurements is repeated many times and the statistical fluctuation is less than ±12%.
Thus, Najaf city could be classified as an area of normal background radiation.

A Parasitological And Histological Study of the Appedicitis in Al - Diwaniya city

This current study has recorded six species of parasites in appendicitis where Enterobius vermicularis is the most infectious (11.6%) then, Entamoeba histolytica )9.3%) followed by Ascaris lumbricoides (7%), Giardia lamblia ) 3.4%), Hymenolepis nana (2.3%) and Trichuris trichura (1.1%) respectively .
The results showed that there are histological changes such as Hyperplasia in lymphonode , Necrosis , Granulomata, and Fibrosis in appendicitis.

Removal of Leshman's stain from aqueous solution By adsorption on modified kaolin and kaolin clays in Batch Techniques

Kaolin clay and Modified clay ( Polymer of kaolin- poly vinyl Alcohol) as an adsorbent for the removal of textile dye from aqueous solution .
The aim of this study was to search for selective active surface in adsorption of Leshman's stain .The adsorption of dye on clays were found to be dependent contact time, dye concentration, initial pH , and amount of adsorbent. The removal data of Modified clay were fitted on Freundilch and Langmuir adsorption isotherm equations., While adsorption isotherm on Kaolin clay was fitted on Freundilch isotherm only .The adsorption of Leshman's stain on Modified clay was much higher than that on Kaolin clay . The adsorption isotherm data will employ to Calculate the thermodynamic parameters like (∆G) Gibb s free,( ∆H)change in enthalpy and (∆S) entropy .The values of percent removal and KD for dye by modified clay and Kaolin clay were also calculated at temperatures ranging from (298-328 K)

The increasing pollution with many heavy metals harmful for living organisms has been the subject of considerable interest .Toxic substances elements occurring in the environment ,as well as in the human body . Many workers are exposed to heavy metals in industry ,particularly in the metal finishing industry or traditional glasswork .
This study aimed to determine cupper, lead, iron, and zinc concentration in the blood of fuel station worker (investigator group) ,in addition to aged match non-occupationally exposed individuals (control group).The results that were achieved in this study showed a significance in average Pb, Cu, Fe, and Zn concentration in the investigated group of peoples that workes in a high polluted environment compared to control group that works in clean environment .A remarkably close relationships have been shown between amount of estimated heavy metals and duration of works in fuel station . this sta .In conclusion in exposed subjects ,there is a direct effect of working environment and duration of work in the concentration of lead, cupper, iron, and zinc in the blood at the human population.

Study and Evaluation Some of the Biochemical Variables and Industrial Pollutants in Industrial Yoghurt Serum

This research provides new data to evaluate the levels of minerales (Zn,Cu,Fe) and some biochemical parameters
(Lipid,Lactose,Protein,pH) on the quality of the fermented yoghurt .We have been taken 21 yoghurt samples as seven groups each group contains 3 yoghurt samples according to its companies.Turkish,Iraqi,Iranian and Jordanion produce were obtained from the local markets.To determine the minerals we have used atomic absorption spectrophotometer and for measuring biochemical parameters pH-meter,colorimetric method and Glledil method have been used.The results confirm that an important difference between Lipid ,Lactose, Copper and Iron which represents(p<0.05) in all the companies and between protein and zinc which have higher signifance (p<0.05) all of them.

Effect of Propanil in Some Immunology and Heìmolyses Tests in Male Albino Mouse

The present study was designed to evaluate some immunological effects of propanil in mal albino mice ( Mus Musculus) by employing some laboratory investigations .The animal ware treated with two oral doses of propanil ( 0.1 and 0.3 mg/kg ) for 30 day .The results showed a clear decvease in the mean count of leucocytes to (2240) in the first dose ( 0.1 mg/kg ) compared with the negative control(4590) and this decreas was significante, Also the mean count of leucocytes decreased to (1460) in the second dos (0.3 mg/kg ) compare with the negative control .While the phagocytic index decreased to (24.60 and 29.20 ) in doses ( 0.1 and 0.3 mg/kg) when compare with negative control (33.40) and this decreae was significant .

Microbiological study of meat disc ( humberger ) in the club for the faculty of education

In this study, the meat disc sample (humberger) was collected which cooked (27) and uncooked (23) samples from student club that belongs to education college / Al-Qadissiya university from 15/11/2008 to 30/11/2008.
This study aims to:
1. Isolate and identify the bacteria which causes infection to samples of the cooked and un cooked meat disks (humberger).
2. Identify antibiotic effects upon isolated bacteria. The result showed that all the cooked and uncooked samples were infected, in cooked disks contained 51.8% from Escherichia.coli (29.6%) from Pseudomonas.aueroginosa in (18.5%) the ratio, from Staphylococcus.aureus. The results also showed that the uncooked disk contained (47.8%) the ratio Escherichia coli bacteria and 30.4% ratio from Staph.aureus bacteria and (21.7%) Pseudomonas.-auerogiuosa bacteria.
3. While the bacrteria that infects all samples (meat) cooked and un cooked with ratio (50%) Escherichia.coli bacteria and (26%) Pseudomonas auerogenosa bacteria and (24%) Staph.aureus. Tests of sensetivity for isolated bacteria were done, the result is that the E.coli had the highest level ratio of resistance against Methycillin antibiotic in (76%) ratio, followed by Staph.aureus that resisted Methycillin, Amoxcyllin in (66%) ratio while Pseudomonas.auerogenosa resisted Chloromphenicol with ratio 61% and the lowest level of resistance was for ( Carbencillin , Cephalosporine, Rifammpicine ) with ratio ( 20, 25, 15) % successfully.

Study of the helminthes parasite of digestive tract of the bird (Streptopelia decaocto) in Al- Najif city.

The current study aims to investigate the helminthes parasitic fauna in Streptopelia decaocto alimentary canal in Al-Najaf city.A total of 30 specimens of Streptopelia decaocto were collected from Al- Najaf city from 1-1-2009 till 31-3-2009.The digestive tract of birds was examined to know parasitic helminthes. The number of infected birds were twenty seven with percentages of infection 90%. It has been found that infected with 5 species of parasites .The species have included three species of cestodes (Aporina delofound , Raillietina tetragona and Choanotania infundibulum ) with percentages of infection ( 13.33%, 73.33% and 40%) respectively. two species of nematode (Epomidiostomum uncinatum and Amidostomoides anseris ( with percentages of infection (26.66%, 20%) respectively .
The result showed that the male and femal of Streptopelia decaocto were differ with there percentages of infection, in male was (87.5%) where as in female was (92.85%). And the result showed that the weight of the birds were decreased with increase of the percentages of infection.

Effect of different concentrations of Gibberellin on the Vegetative growth and Productivity of Sorghum bicolor L.

This study was carried under condition of lath house that followed by the department of biology in the college of education – AL- Qadisyia university to the plant of Sorgham bicolor L. Variety Milo was to study the effect of four GA concentration 0, 100, 200 and 300 mg / L with three replications of each treatment on some of the characters of growth such as leav area, plant height, chlorophyll content of leaves, dry weight and some of characters productivity which included weight of 1000 grain and protein content of grains. This experiment has been done according to completely randomized design (CRD). It used least Significantly difference at %5 probability level for mean comparison.Results indicated that GA: at 300 mg/L affected leav area, plant height and dry weight compared with control during the first and the second period of growth. Results also showed that there are no signify – cant differences on the chlorophyll content of the grains while the treatment showed negative effect on total chlorophyll, weight of 1000 grains and protein content of the grains.

The study of physical , chemical and Biological properties of wells water in Al-Qadisiya

The study was achieved in three regions of Al-Diwaniya and includes AlHamza , Saniya and Dagara , 21samples were taren with equal levels frm above-mentioned regions . The measuring of proportions was done and was compared it with the world determinations of weirs water , most of this water is used as drinking water and irrigation etc…
The results showed that there are a high levels in all indicators or chemical and physical properties of Al-Hamza , Saniya and Dagara respectively, a high levels were reported in E.C, total dissolved salts, turbidity, Alkalinity, total hardness, magnesium hardness and chlorides Or related to Concerning biological properties , there are alarge number of E .coli in all regions in addition to presence of pathogenic bacteria such as. Staphylococcus spp , Salmonella and Shigella . The highest number appeared in Al-Hamza, Sania and Dagara respectively .
The presence of Bacteria considered as a pollution indicator in this water in other hands this water is invalid for human uses and can't be used for irrigation.

The goal of the experiment was to determine the change that had happened by thalassemia disease on the some of physiological and Biochemical properties of the blood. Selected (30) sample and divide to three groups . The first were control group that include (10) from the healthy persons , the scond group included (10) from the thalassemia patient and with having spleen and the third group included too (10) from thalassemia patient and removed the spleen from them (Asplenctomy) . result indicate that thalasemia affected parameters studied in the experiment Hb and P.C.V were significantly reduced (p<0.05) while the protein, Glucose and cholesterol that not effected (p>0.05) by thalassemia

The present study was included to estimate the concentration and distribution of total organic carbon as well as five metals; nickel, vanadium, lead, iron, and copper of sediment of four stations along Garaf river in order to investigates the possibility of contamination in this area.
The mean concentration of Ni, V, Pb .Fe and Cu in sediment ranged from(27.25-56.4), (26.2-76.6), (2.3-12.5), (12.7-43.2), (0-12), μg/gm respectively. While the percentage of total organic carbon in sediment ranged between 1.3% to 1.96% μg/gm. Many variations were observed in the mean concentrations of the studied metals of sediment. This is due to the differences in water and huge discharges to the river .There was a significant relationship between the concentrations of total organic carbon percentage (TOC%), and nickel (Ni), vanadium (V) content of the sediments. In addition to that there not pollution with lead .iron and copper of sediment.

This study include effect of two types of medical plants extract opportune fungi associated with Otitis Media , this study made to isolate that path fungi from patients who visit ear –nose – larynx clinical , the result of sample collected from 50 patients during two month collect many types of path fungi which replicated in many of causes Penicillium parasiticus Aspergillus flavus Fusarium solani , Rhizopus stolanifer , Aspergillus niger . this study show dominance Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus after isolat and diagnosis them in all samples and during note from effect of Cminum cyminum and Nigilla sativa extract it noted there are different inhibition mechanism Cminum cyminum and Nigilla sativa extract on different fungi and tested in this study although they gave good result in inhibition colony growth for fungi compared with two antibiotics Candistan and Dermatin which use in ear fungi treatment . Also result showed resistant Fusarium solani , Rhizopus stolanifer for some concentration ( 12.50 , 6.25 ,20 ) micro litter which used in search and same antibiotics concentration .

The number of bacteria genus is isolation in cities which such as (Streptococcus faecium, Streptococcus lactis, Shigella sp., Pseudomonas sp., Salmonella sp., Srvia marsence, Bacillius subtilus, E. coli , Staphylococcus aureas) and the found of the different percent in bacteria genus which is Shigella sp of the genus dominance that the frequency of the percent (95, 0 ,100, 83 ) % .

Effect of the storage types and treatment with GA3 and Vapor-Gard on storability on fruit of local orange ( citrus sinensis L. )

This experement was conducted the two types of storage and treatment with three concentration of GA3 (50 , 75 and 100) mg/L , and Vapor-Gard (1,2 and 3) % on fruits of local orange that stored three months from (1/12/2005 to 1/3/2006) in, refregerater at (5 C0) and Vaporization storage at the Department of Horticulture collage of Agric . Univ . of kufa . The result indicated that fruits storage at (5Co) gave asignificant decrease in percentage fungicide diseases of green mold , blue mold, black molde and total decay and significant increased in physiological diseases (SERB+RS) and percentage of water loss , acidity , T.S.S , Vit . C , juice , and reducing percentage of peel ,peel thickness compared with Vaporization storage way .
The study treatment had reduced percentage of weight loss and physiological , fungicide diseases and total decay and chemical characteristics and increasing percentage of peel ,peel thickness compared to control treatment and there was asignificant differences between these treatments . The treatment of 3 % Vapor-Gard gaves the lowest percentage of weight loss , physiological, fungicide diseases and total decay it was (3.25, 0.00 , 0.83 , 0.87, 1.06 and 2.62) % respestivly and have lowest percentage of acidity , T.S.S , Vit . C ,juice but the highest percentage of peel and peel thickness in the end of storage respectively .
The interaction between tow storage way and study treatments gave reduced significantly in percentage weight loss, physiological and fungicide diseases and total decay, the treatment stored at 5 Co had best storability compared with other treatments .

Retinal growth of mature Barbus sharpeyi

52 specimens of Barbus sharpeyi were studied to see the differentiation of ganglion cell in Eye retina. The eyes length, age of the fish and eye diameters were measured. Histological section were done and stained with hematoxylin and eosin. The number of ganglion cells counted by direct counting. There is an invert ratio among the increasing number of ganglion cells with age, length and diameter of Eye. That explain growth of retina by cells addition occurring postembryonically until post maturation of the studied fish.

The Effect of Annealing Time on The Structural and Electrical Properties of CdTe Thin Films

The effect of post annealing of CdTe thin film had been studied, the films were annealed at 400o C for 30, 60, 90 and 120 min, the effect of annealing time on the structure and electrical properties had been done, all the films had a well defined crystal structural. The mean crystallite size had been increased to 26 nm with annealing time up to 60 min at 400o C, after that time the mean crystallite size decreased. The behavior of sheet conductivity also effected to annealing time, and change from (9.33 x 10-12 S.□) for the as prepared CdTe thin films to (1.41 x 10-11 S. □) for the films annealed for 120 min, and also did the activation energy of these films.

In the present search used gamma-ray spectroscopy NaI(TL) scintillation detector to measure the kind and the amounts of the radionuclide that content in samples of water and sediments. The samples selected From different regions of Qadisiya governorate by depending on the Administrative map. Ten samples of water investigated (five sample from river of Diwania and the other from the Purification plant . As well as ten samples of sediments from the same regions that taken the water samples. The results were obtained from this study refers to existing the radioactivity in all samples of sediments that returns to (U238 , Th232) decay chains and K40, but there is not any data obtained for the samples of water because the activity of water samples under the level of system sensitivity.
All the activity concentrations that measured in the present work were refers to the allowed limits and exploits for home and agriculture. When the Results of the present study were compared with the known levels of similar data for the other countries as well as with the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation founded with the permitted limits.

Transition strength │M (E2) │2 for gamma transition from excited 2+ states to the ground states 0+ that produced by pure electric quadruple emission for even –even nuclei such as 56Ba nuclide with 122 ≤ A ≤ 146
have been calculated as a function of neutron number (N) .Gamma ray intensities for γo - transitions with half life times for the 2+ states reported in ref .[2] are used together with γo - energy .The results thus obtained are shown the isotopes with magic neutron number N=82 has minimum values for │M(E2)│2 for γo- transition . The good agreement of the reduced transition probability B(E2) e2 b2 values calculated in the present work with those of experiment in ref . [7] , are provided the most accurate results for comparison with the values predicted by different nuclear models.

The effect of Helianthus annuus on mechanical properties of low density polyethylene

Mechanical properties of (LDPE-463): Helianthus annuus shell particles composite were assessed with respect to the effect of filler content Helianthus annuus shell range from (5%,10%,15%,20%,25% 50%) by weight in the composite. The volume off Helianthus shell particles was (<425) micrometer. The mechanical properties of loaded film have been evaluating through several parameters concerning the elastic deformation based on measuring the load – elongation characteristics and through several parameters like Elongation, Tensile at break and Tensile at yield. The obtained results show that Helianthus annuus shell particles increase the free volume among polymeric chains indicating a poor ability against applied stress. The behavior of (stress-strain) curve is analyzed of cold drawing model. No experimental difficulties appeared for all mixing ratio under 50% with no separation in phase which makes the sample processing is possible. The Elongation is decrease with increasing filler concentration where a rapid decrease is obtained due to high concentration of filler. Both tensile at yield and break are also decrease indicating a composite of less elasticity. The filler ratio 5% is found to be best due to it's Elongation while 40% is consider as the saturation value.

The extraction of Copper has studies as complex means of (PSPAI) dissolved in chloroform .The search comprises the following aspects: the optimum pH values for extraction was (pHext. = 8 ), so the suitable concentration of Cu(II) ions in aqueous solution which is giving highest distribution ratio (D) was (40 ìg ) ,studying effect of extraction time illustrated the optimum shaking time to reach the equilibria twenty minute . It was found from experiments that the best D of Cu(II) when the concentration of ligand equal to [6 x 10-5 M ] and the probability form category enable for extraction [Cu(PSPAI)]+2SO4-2 from the slope of straight line of this catgory , that the more probable structure of ion pair (metal : ligand) complex extracted was 1 : 1.The study of organic solvent effect appear that there the D values increasing with increasing of dielectric constant of organic solvents used . The thermodynamic study demonstrates the complexation reaction is an exothermic .

Mycological and chemical study on air coolers in Diwaniya cityIraq

The aim of this study was to observe fungi located in air coolers in Diwaniya city .Several
genera of fungi were isolated from air, water and straw of air cooler. The percentage of
isolated fungi was recorded in the period from May to Septemper -2009. Some chemical
parameters were measured for water of coolers .Then the toxicity of fungi was tested, the
effect of abstergents on fungal growth was tested ,the results showed:-
The isolated fungi were Aspergillus niger , A.flavus , Fusarium solani , F.oxysporum ,
Rhizopus stolonifer , Penicillium digitatum , Alternaria alternata ,Rhizoctonia solani.The
occurrence percentage of fungi was increased with increasing of study months .The fungus
A.niger was the highest coexist in all samples as percentage (45.8% for air and 75% for
water) ,while Rh.solani was the lowest occurrence in water and once in straw only.Also
A.flavus was the highest production toxins comparing with another fungi .The study showed
that the saline percentage and electrical conductivity were increased with increasing of
working time of air cooler ,the ph of water convert from neutral to weakly acidity media
depending on accumulation of salts.The results showed that all abstergents has high ability to
inhibit the fungal growth and phenol was the best.

In this study were obtained 6 isolates of the fungus Aspergillus Flavus sourced from peanut seeds collected from the local market. It appeared that some of the isolates were produced from Aflatoxin through the development of the medium of coconut extract ajar. The results of the study shows that there were toxic effects of produced Aflatoxin from the Fungs isolates Aspergillus Flavus. It presented by increasing the total numbers of white blood cells. It increased their numbers into (10400.0) cells/ mm3 for 1 ml/ kg dose, when compared with control treatment. There are decreasing in the level of hemoglobin in the blood. It decreased to (6.62) g/ Dc/ L, lower than in the control treatment dose 1ml/kg. The study show that there were increasing in the liver enzymes level ( AST , ALT) their level were in 1ml/ kg dose
( 16.00, 23.02) international unit /L. respevtively, where in the Luteinizing hormon (LH) and Follicle stimulating hormon FSH happened to them significant decreasing in the focus to (4.40,4.12) Ng respectively for the treatment of control.

Detection of Immunomodulatory activity of alcoholic extract ofCordia myxa(L.) fruit

This study was doing to detect the medically active compounds and ethanolic extract of Cordia myxa(L.) fruits,since this plant considers one of the medically important plants, which is widely used for treatment of numerous diseases .The toxicity of this extract to immunological cells (lymphoid & phagocyte)was evaluated and different concentrations of extract were prepared .the percentage of cytotoxicity was inhibited significantly (P<0.05) with increase the concentration of extract .The concentrations (750 ,1000)µg/ml were used in following immunological experiments .The immunomodulatary activity was determined in vitro assays with using activated mouse (males type BALB/c) macrophages and lymphocytes by using lymphoproleferation and reduction of NBT stain .These results indicate that concentration of (750 ,1000) µg/ml inhibited The proliferation not due cell toxicity (0.2, 0.1) respectively ,in comparison with negative and positive control(0.3 , 1.6) respectively .The results of NBTwere indicated the significant inhibition (without cytotoxicity ) in the percentage of PMNLs forming Formazan granules which were (29.4 , 15.2) in comparesion with control(43.1).deferent

Study a number of physiological and Biochemical parameters among a group married pregnant women affected and non-affected with urinary tract infection (UTI) in Kirkuk City

The study was conducted during the period from 1st August 2006 to 30 the April 2007 , in primary health Kir kuk city and Conunsltant health center within the general kirkuk hospital. Four hundred and forty women (380 pregnancy and 60 non pregnant) within age of 15-45 years, were randomly selected for determining knowledge of some chemo biological changes and determining the presence or not one of urinary tract diseases. Results showed a decrease in the level of blood urea among the pregnant women compared with those non pregnant women(p<0.01) , and the level of blood infection was lower with the first trimester of pregnant compared with those healthy pregnancy women (p<0.01). The level serum creatinine was lower in the pregnant women as compared with the non - pregnant women (p<0.01) mean while the level was more lower in the pregnant women that suffered from the urinary tract infection during the third trimester compared with the healthy pregnant women(p<0.01).The level of total protein was low in the pregnant women as compared with the non pregnant women (p<0.01) and the level of total protein was more lower in the pregnant women who suffering from the urinary tract infection during the third trimester of pregnant as compared those healthy pregnant women(p<0.01).
Results showed also a decrease in the level of albumin in the pregnant women as compared with those non pregnant women(p<0.01) and also more lower during the first trimester as compared with those healthy pregnant women(p<0.01).
The level of serum calcium was decrease in pregnant women as compared with non pregnant women(p<0.01) and the level was more lower during the second trimester as compared with those healthy pregnant women (p<0.01).
About 70.8% of pregnant women was complain of Anaemia in addition to the urinary traet infection.
