journal of al-qadisiyah for pure science(quarterly), 2006, Volume 6, Issue 3, Pages 53-63

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted on (20) twenty men with chronic renal failure , and they weekly treated with heamodialysis , and they are fallowed up from the first heamodialysis process after diagnosis for (10) ten consecutive weeks for each of them .
The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of heamodiaylsis on electrical cardiac activity and concentrations of some ions which are related to the cardiac activity which are calcium , potassium and sodium .
This objective was done by electrocardiography for each patient directly after heamodialysis and take blood sample to isolate plasma by centrifugation for measurement of calsium ,potassium and sodium .
This repeated weekly for ten weeks .the results revealed that there is significant increase in (P-R) duration of ECG ,while there is no clear changes in other durations which are include (P) , (Q-R-S) and (Q-T) duration .
Also there is no changes in voltages of waves of ECG which are include (P) ,(Q-R-S) and (T) .
Heart rate give oscillation during weeks of research with out significant changes .
Concentration of calcium give significant decrease starting from sixth week to the end of the research , while there is no changes in concentrations of potassium and sodium .
These results indicate changes in cardiac electrical activity which
55
are represented by increase in (P-R) duration because the tissues of the heart including conductive tissues are affected by heamodialysis which may be indicate starting of heart block in transmission of pulse ,which may be lead to heart failure due to repeated heamodialysis .
While decrease in calcium concentration indicate increase lose of this ion by continuous heamodialysis .

Abstract:
Our study shows that ulcerative enteritis in some birds are an lesions in the intestinal tract, liver, and spleen. It was occurred mostly at <3 months birds with some exceptions. Clostridium colinum investigated by some microbiological test and by using new electrophoretic study. Histopathological obs-ervations showing ulcers, peritonitis and foci of necrosis along of the injured organ. Necrosis extends deep into tunica mus-cularis or serosa. Colonies of large gram positive bacterial rods are normal throughout the lesion. Here we confirm the most important changes occurred at the intestinal layers due to invasion by C. colinum.

Abstract
The association between Thalassaemia disease and the finger prints is examined in sample of 40 contrds and 40 thalassaemia patients. This sample were collected from Hospital of children in Qadisiyah governorate. Then the finger prints are analysed Qualitative which were classified to whorls, ulrar loop, radial loop and arch. Male with Thalassaemia had asignificantly higher frequency of whorls and radial loop and lower frequency of alnar loop and arch than controls group, Female with thalassaemia had a significantly higher Frequency of ulnar loop, radial loop and arch and lower frequency of whords. These difference are significant at the (0.05%) level. Total and absolute ridge counts were also significantly higher in patients male while the femal had lower of it.
The total and absolute ridge count means. Including the digital correlation matrices were also determined. The six correlation matrices significantly higher compared with control in unilateral and Bilateral analysed.
This results have shown the relationship between thalassaewia diseare and dermatoglyphics then must be done astudy with large sample in order to confirm our findings.

Abstract
One handred fifty eye swabs were collected from the patients who are suffering from eye infection coming to special doctors in AL-Diwaniya city. Results of the isolation and identification of the bacteria were as fllows:
Staphylococcus aureus 52.4%,Staphylococcus epidermidis 7.3% Streptococcus pyogenes8.5%,Pseudomonas aeruginosa 14.6% , Neisseria gonorrhoeae 4.8 %, Moraxella catarrhalis 6 % , Moraxella laccunata 3.6 % , Proteus vulgaris 2.4 % .
The sensitivity test for all kinds of isolated bacteria , cefotaxime and erythromycin were the most powerful antibiotics while less powerful antibiotic ampicillin.
The resistans of bacterial isolates which resist betalactam antibiotics were attributed to their ability to produce the betalactamase enzyme which appeared in 56.4 % of the resistant isolates.
The effect of combination antibiotics on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were causing eye infection it show that accure synergistic between ampicillin with gentamicin on hand , and ampicillin with chloramphenicol on other hand .
