The effect of some biological and chemical treatments in the control of the growth of one of pathogenic fungi isolated from the seeds and roots of the tomato plant

This study included testing the efficacy of two fungal filtrates of Trichoderma
harzianum and Trichoderma aureoviride and the chemical compounds of ammonium
chloride and calcium chloride in the radial growth and germination of spores of the
pathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum isolated from the seeds and roots tomato in
measuring with fungicide (Topsin), as well as test the effect of these treatments on the
germination of the seeds of tomato in sterilized and unsterilized soil,It also has been
diagnosed pathogenic fungus F. oxysporum using a technique Polymerase Chain Reaction
(PCR).
The results showed that all treatments salts and filtrates have a significant inhibitory
effect to the growth for the fungus F. oxysporum on the solid culture medium P.D.A in
measuring with controlled treatment at the level possibility 5%,as it was for these treatments
have a significant inhibitory effect to the germination of spores for the tested fungus, as well
as the back of a clear effect in raising the percentage of germination of the seeds of tomato in
sterilized and un sterilized soil, and It was the concentration 15% of the filtrates and 15 mg/ml
of salts most influential in measuring with other concentrations and fungicide (Topsin) at
concentration of 1mg/ml .

The study aims to assessing the protective role of aqueous extract of green tea and
aqueous extract of licorice in reducing toxicity of the pesticide Dimethoate on reproductive
efficiency of male rats and some fertility standards as a study of sperm standards and
calculate weights of the components of the reproductive system. In this experiment, (50)
male from adult rats were randomly assigned to 5 equal groups, each group comprised (10)
animals. Control group (C) was gavage with distilled water, The first group (T1) was
gavage with pesticide Dimethoate in concentration (12,5) mg /kg of body weight, The
second group (T2) was gavage with Dimethoate in concentration of (12.5) mg/kg and
aqueous extract of green tea a concentration of 100 mg/kg of body weight, The third group
(T3) was gavage with Dimethoate in concentration of (12.5) mg/kg and aqueous extract of
licorice concentration of 100 mg/kg of body weight, The fourth group (T4) was gavage
with Dimethoate in concentration of (12.5) mg /kg and aqueous extract of green tea a
concentration of 100 mg/kg and aqueous extract of licorice concentration (100) mg /kg of
body weight. After 60 days the animals were weighed , At the expiration of the experiment,
Which was lasted 60 days, Five animals were dissected after taking blood samples for the
purpose of obtaining serum for assess hormones levels Testosterone and stimulating follicle
(FSH) and LH, Then animals were eradicated and testes and epididmis weighed, The tail
of the epididymis was taken to study sperm parameters (concentration, movement, viable,
normal), Five males have been isolated from each group randomly for the purpose of
conducting fertility test on them and to study the male's ability to fertilization and the
creation of pregnancy and to make sure the pregnancy and the number and weight ratio
birth. Statistical analysis showed a significant decrease (P <0.05) levels of hormones (T,
FSH, LH) and a significant decrease (P <0.05) standards sperm studied for a pesticide (T1)
compared with the control group and others groups whose results were mixed differences
nearby.
According to this study, it can concluded that exposure to the pesticide Dimethoate cause
negative changes in the concentrations of hormones and standards of sperm, and the study
proved that giving aqueous extracts of green tea and licorice together or each one has a
positive role in reducing the toxic effects and physiological resulting from exposure to
Dimethoate.

Types of bacteria that cause urinary tract infection and extent resistance to antibiotics in some hospitals of Baghdad

Experiment carried out in Biology department/ College of education/ Al-Qdisiya university during the
period from 15.11.2012 until 22.02.2013. Intended to study the effect of magnetization of irrigation water
four intensities and concentrations of adenine and Abannzel lotion compost algal (Rasha on papers and in
three concentrations of each) in the growth of carota plant.
Plant irrigation water was the river with four magnetic intensities (0,500,750,1000) gauss Added bannzel
adenine (BA) and algal fertilizer spraying on the leaves of three concentrations (0,50,100 mg / L) and
(0,1.5,3) ml / liter, respectively, for each of them.
The experiment was designed randomized complete sectors (RCBD) global experience Factorial
Experiment and three replications. The test was used less significant difference average (RLSD) at the
level of probability of 0.05 when compared to the averages of the transactions referred to moral influence.
Growth indicators under consideration included leaf area, number of leaves, total chlorophyll, carotenoids
and ethylene Allbeckalin and Allbeckugginol. The results showed:
The use of magnetized water severity 1000 gauss led to the increase in leaf area and leaf number and total
chlorophyll and carotenoids and the subjects Allbeckalin and Allbeckugginol compared with wrenches or
other treatment comparison. As the concentration of 100 mg / liter of adenine Abannzel led to an increase
in leaf area and leaf number and total chlorophyll and carotenoids and the subjects Allbeckalin and

combination consisting of 1000 gauss of magnetic water and 100 mg / l of BA led to an increase in leaf
area and number of leaves, even with the use of 500 gauss intensity compared to the treatment
comparison. As the 1000 gauss combination with 100 mg / l adenine inn BA led to a significant increase
in the total chlorophyll and carotenoids and the subjects Allbeckalin and Allbeckugginol.
As indicated bilateral interactions to the existence of a significant effect on the content of the plant
material in the aforesaid board search. Triple overlap factors study indicated superiority of combination
consisting of 1000 gauss magnetized water with 100 mg / l BA and 1.5 ml / liter of algal fertilizer in total

A Comparative Study for Extracts of Celery (Apium graveolens L.) and Parsley (Petroselinum crispum Mill.) Plants and Some Physiological Parameters

A pots experiment was conducted in the winter season (2014 - 2015) in a house garden in Al-
Diwaniya city/ Al-Qadisiyah province to determine the physiological and chemical characteristics of
the comparison between celery (Apium graveolens L.) and Parsley (Petroselinum crispum Mill.)
plants.
Plants were planted in a pots method at one date (12/01/2014) and 10 seeds per pot. All results
under study were subjected for statistical analysis in order to know the significant differences between
the traits by using F-test at 0.05.
Results showed that all indicators germination of celery plant was morally superior to germinate
parsley plant indicators, and the majority of physiological characteristics of the celery plant were
morally superior to those of the parsley plant traits except number of leaves of the plant that showed
its superiority in parsley plant. Leaves of celery plant content of phosphorus, total carbohydrates,
moisture content, ash, sodium and iron content excellence on parsley plant was coupled with the
recent leaves in the superiority of nitrogen, potassium, total protein, fat, calcium, zinc and copper
content.

Using the smear method and Real-Time PCR technique in diagnosis of Toxoplasma gondii parasite in white male rats experimentally infected by parasite

The present study aims to isolate Toxoplasma gondii parasite and causing the experimentally
infection and diagnosis of this infection by using the smear method and Real-Time PCR
technique in different organs of white male rats such as brain, liver and testes . from aborted
placentae of infected women and experimentally infection of male rats then diagnosed of this
infection by impression smear that produced . The present study included 30 white male rats
Rattus norvegicus aged ( 60-70) days averaged weight (200-250)gm . tissue cysts of parasite
were presence in all prepared smears of brain ,liver and testes organs in different size and
numerous numbers ,the percentage of infection by using Real-Time PCR was 26% in brain
and 20% in liver and testes .this study was recorded the possibility of isolation of
Toxoplasma gondii parasite and and diagnosis by using impression smears method and Real-
Time PCR technique in different tissues of the organs of the experimental animals.

The effect of Apple seeds Pyrus malus L. on some fertility parameters of white rats

The present study aimed to determine the effects that can be performed by eating apples seeds
Pyrus malus L. in some standards of white rat males fertility during effects on hormones level LH,
FSH and Testosterone and spermatogenesis.
The effect of apples seeds in fertility standards has been performed, 36 adult rat males have been used
and distributed into two groups G1, G2 according to the administered dose in addition to the control
group C, it included all the animals age groups (7-8) weeks and ages (12-14) months , the first and the
second group have been given apple seeds with 2% and 4%, respectively of the weight of the wet
provender ,while the control group has been given the normal provender for 50 days. Animals were
sacrified after 24 hr. of last dose , by using the heart puncture blood was obtained for hormonal study
, testes were obtained for histological study and compare with control group the result show:
1- significance increase (p<0.05) in the concentration of LH and Testosterone in both groups in
comparison with the control group, and an increase in the concentration of the follicle
stimulating hormone FSH reaching the significance degree in the two groups for age (12-14)
months only.
2- histological measurements that made on the testis showed a significance increase (P <0.05) in
the diameters of seminiferous tubules, thickness of its lining.
3- a significant increase (P<0.05) in the number of spermatogonia when compared with the
control group.

Phages isolated Staphylococcus aureus resistant to methicillin and can be used in bioremediation against hosts

This study involved the collection of 100 samples of different clinical situations for patients of
different ages, reviewed the hospital Diwaniyah general education for the period from November 1220
to February 2013 to investigate Staphylococcus aureus resistance to anti Methicillin. 50 have been
diagnosed with the isolation of S.aureus included 18 isolates originating from burns 11 isolates from
the cysts and 18 isolates from wounds 2 isolation of lactation and the isolation of one of the ear.
I tested the sensitivity of the isolates to 16 antibiotics, all isolates were resistant to antibiotics
Penicillin G and Ampicillin and Amoxicillin Clavulinic acid and by (100%), while the resistance to
antibiotics Ceftriaxone and Cefotaxime and Cephalothin rates (77.2%) and (72.7%) and (74.2%)
respectively, while the resistance to the anti Erythromycin rate (69.6%), while the resistance of the two
anti Gentamicin and Amikacin was proportions (53%) and (48.4%), respectively, while the decreased
resistance to antibiotics Clindamycin and Tetracyclin and Chloramphenicol to (48.4%) and (37.8%)
and (34.8%), respectively, while the resistance to antibiotics Ciprofloxacin and Imipenem and
Meropenem was very low, as was (1.5%) and (3.0%) and (21.2%), respectively, while all isolates were
sensitive to anti Vancomycin by (100%).
Been investigating the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus resistance to anti AlMethicillin
Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in all S. aureus isolates adult (50) and the
isolation of 30 isolates showed a positive result using the center CHROMagar MRSA.
Through this study was to isolate different types of bacteriophagology depending on the
difference in the form of Qatar and the gap of the total 100 samples of sewage and studied various
properties.

The effect of phenthoate (phe) pesticide on function of pituitary gland and ovary in female of adult white rats.

control group was given distilled water through oral intubations for 30 days, treated group was given

Purification of water from Amaranth Dye by adsorption method using pomegranate peel.

Pomegranate peel was tested for its ability to adsorb Amaranth dye from solutions with alterations
in the parameters such as pH, contact time, sorbent weight, and temperature.
The adsorption process was analyzed on the basis of pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order
kinetic models and also by Dubinin-radushkevich ,Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm models. The
maximum adsorption capacity for pomegranate peel calculated it was observed that under Langmuir
Isotherm models and it found equl to 3.448mg/ gm at 25C◦.The adsorption data were fitted with
Langmuir Isotherm models and various second order Kinetic equations .Thermodynamic parameters
such as the changes of free energy, enthalpy, and entropy were also evaluated. The results indicated
that the sorption of Amaranth dye onto the pomegranate peel was an endothermic process.

Recently, there has been an increasing interest in the study of regular and perturbed systems.
The aim of this paper is to design artificial neural networks for solve regular perturbation problems
with initial and boundary conditions. We design a multi-layer collocation neural network having
one hidden layer with 5 hidden units (neurons) and one linear output unit the sigmoid activation
function of each hidden unit is ridge basis function where the network trained by back propagation
with different training algorithms such as quasi-Newton, Levenberg-Marquardt, and Bayesian
Regulation. Finally the results of numerical experiments are compared with the exact solution in
illustrative examples to confirm the accuracy and efficiency of the presented scheme.

A Study of the Physiological Effects of the Anticancer Paclitaxel in Men

The present study aims to investigate the effect of Paclitaxel drug on hematological,
biochemical parameters and sex hormones of men. Adult men divided into two groups for each sex
(33 for each group), the first group (control) and the second group treatment with Paclitaxel drug.
Results study indicated a significant decrease (P≤0.05) in red blood cell count (RBC), packed cell
volume (PCV), Total white blood cell count (WBC) and LH level in the men to second group
compared with the control group. Also, it showed a significant increase (p≤ 0.05) in Creatinine and
urea levels to second group compared with the control group. Also, the result showed non-significant
in FSH levels to mean in control and second groups.

Vaginal Flora among Women with and without Bacterial Vaginosis

This study has been conducted in Al-Diwaniya city through the period from December 2012 to
December 2013, in order to investigate the prevalence of bacterial vaginosis, and to compare the
composition of vaginal flora between women with bacterial vaginosis (BV) and those without the
syndrome. Results showed that, according to Nugent ׳s scores, 18 women had BV with a
prevalence of 16.07%. Culturing out of vaginal swabs from women has been revealed that
coagulase-negative staphylococci were the dominant microorganisms in women without BV
followed by lactobacilli (frequency of 20.63 and 16.66% respectively), while in BV patients the
dominant microflora were non-hemolytic streptococci and coagulase-negative staphylococci
(frequency, 21.95 and 17.07% respectively). Actinomyces israelii, has been isolated from a BV
patient with a cervical ulcer, this result can assumed as a new record in Iraq .

Using Diatoms as Bioindicators to Assess AL-Diwaniya River/ Iraq

The present study aims to assess AL-Diwaniya river by using diatoms as bioindicators And using Palmer
Pollution index.Water samples were collected monthly during the period March 2015 to February 2016, Three
sites were selected in AL-Diwanhya river. the investigation was to study the physical, chemical and biological
characters in the river, The water of the river was good oxygenated, oligohaline, very hard and alkalinity
returned to the bicarbonate, and results also showed an increase of pollutants especially in third site. It is
concluded that the sewage had an dilution effect for the total hardness, alkalinity, electrical conductivity and
salinity of river.
Diatoms species which were identified during study period 170 belong to 34 genera, Centrales12 species
which returned to 5 genera, while Pennales158 species belong to 32 genera, The species that have highs
numbers are (Achnanthes, Cymbella, Nitzschia, Navicula). Other types are dominant in their existence and
number during study period (Cycltella comta, C. Kutzingana, C. meneghiniana, C. Ocellata, Diatoma elongatum
and Cocconeis Placentula), according to Palmer Index the water of river was moderate pollution..

Effecieny of Antioxidant defenses System in Burned Patients of Both Sexes with Second and Third Degrees of Burn

Thermal burns are one of the most problem worldwide. Patients with burns are characterized by
hypermetabolic state, increased vascular permeability, protein degradation, immune abnormalities, and
oxidative stress. The present study was conducted to evaluate abnormalities occurring in antioxidants
activities of burned patients of both sexes (males and females). One hundred fourteen subjects were
recruited in this study of both sexes. Of those, 100 subjects (50 males and 50 females) were burned
with thermal injuries. Burned males were subdivided according to severity of burn in to two groups;
25 burned males affected with second degree of burn and 25 burned males affected with third degree
of burn. Similarly, the same classification was also applied with burned females. Fourteen healthy
subjects (20 males and 20 females) were used as control group. All ages of the subjects were ranged
between 20-40 years old.
Results obtained from this present study indicated that levels of catalase activity in all burned
patients groups were significantly lower (p<0.05) than of healthy groups. Continuously, results of
glutathione peroxidase activity were also significantly decreased (p<0.05) in all burned groups.
Concentrations of reduced glutathione (GSH) showed a significant and insignificant fall in most
burned patients (males and females).For measurement of lipid peroxidation, malondialdehyde (MDA)
used in this study and served as indicator of lipid peroxidation and its values showed a progressive
increase (p<0.05) in burned males and females when compared with healthy control group. The
possible explanation of changes mentioned above may be attributed to progressive increase oxidative
stress and release of inflammatory mediators which in-turn aggravate and worse physiological
disturbances in burned patients.

REDIOSPECTROSCOPIC FEATURES OF LOW-DIMENSIONAL SYSTEMS

This work presents the experimental conditions leading to changing of the line form in
electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra when the extreme properties (line width and intensity) of
the object diagnosed are combined with different spectrum recording modes. A change in the line form on
recording in the standard mode with the automatic control of a microwave oscillator over the measuring
cavity is characteristic for samples with high concentrations of the paramagnetic centers. As the EPR signal
intensity is growing, first the line width and symmetry is varying monotonically with a transition to the
”dips”«the disruption», and then а hysteresis is revealed for the spectral lines recorded on increasing and
decreasing of a magnetic field.

In the present study, a rapid, simple and economical reversed phase-HPLC procedure has been fixed
optimization of condition and developed for the separation and determination of vitamin D3 in mixture standard
of Vitamin D3and Vitamin A.
Anew method were developed in HPLC ,based method with a UV detector by examining various conditions
including mobile phase, flow rate, volume inject and temperature, we have also proposed a very simple method
of isolation of these vitamins. The vitamins were separated isocratically on a Knauer C18 column (250×4.6mm,
5μm particle size) with a mobile phase consisting of isocratic acetonitrile and methanol (75:25, v/v) operated at
40ºC with retention times less than 10 min. and the detection limit of our developed HPLC method is 0.01μg/ml.
The eluted vitamins were identified and monitored on a UV-Detector at 265 nm with optimum flow rate 1.5
mL/min and 50μL Injection volume. The linearity of the method was excellent (r2 > 0.999), over the concentration range
of 10-200ng/ml.
Vitamin D3 was found interference with other fat soluble vitamins (especially vitamin A and E) that are
commonly present with vitamin D, in Serum & pharmaceutical preparation.
