Injective Modules Relative To a Preradical

The concept ofߩ-injective modules (where ߩ is a preradical) is introduced in this work as a
generalization of injective modules. The definition of ߩ-injectivity unifies several definitions on
generalizations of injectivity such as nearly injective modules and special injective modules. Many
characterizations and properties of ߩ-injectivity are given. We study the endomorphisms rings of
ߩ-injective modules. The results of this work unify and extend many results in the literature.

Optimal Conditions for Spore-bound Laccase Production from Local Isolate of Bacillus subtilis*

Fifty seven of bacterial isolates were isolated from different soils in different sites of Al
Diwaniyah and Baghdad in Iraq using nutrient agar medium. The primary screening of bacterial isolates
was done on nutrient agar by dropping a few drops of syringaldazine on bacterial colonies proved that, only
10 isolates were developed a pink color within 15 seconds. The secondary screening was done on nutrient
broth using syringaldazine as enzyme substrate proved that the isolate 54 developed the highest sporebound
laccase activity (12.8) U/ml. The biochemical tests of bacterial isolate with highest laccase activity
showed that the bacteria are Bacillus subtilis. The optimization studies revealed that the maximum laccase
production was achieved when the production medium were at the following conditions: 3 days of
incubation, temperature 37 °C, pH 7.0, copper sulphate 0.2 mM, glucose as carbon source 3%, Tryptone as
nitrogen source 0.2% , Kcl 1mM and pyrogallol 1mM as enzyme inducer , after these conditions the sporebound
laccase activity was (439.23) U/ml.

EVALUATION THE IMPACT OF HEAVY METALS ON WATER QUALITY IN GANGA RIVER AT VARANASI, INDIA

Day after a day, the increase of heavy metals concentration in the riverine water have dramatically
attired anthropogenic activities. Scientist and policy makers in India gave serious attention for the rising
level of pollutants and changes in mid-stream water quality of Ganga River. The present investigation was
attempted to study water quality of river Ganga and to record the quantitative change in heavy metals in
water if any during the three consecutive months of sampling in 2013. A systematic study has been carried
out to assess the impact of heavy metal concentration on water quality of river Ganga in Varanasi city. 36
water samples from four sampling stations i.e. By pass bridge upstream, Assi Ghat, Dashswamedh Ghat,
and Raj Ghat bridge downstream, were collected and analyzed for Temperature, pH, concentrations of Cr,
Ni, Cu, As, Cd, Pb in (μg.L-1). The results from this study indicated significant accumulation of these
heavy metals in the riverine water. The order of heavy metals accumulation in the riverine water was As >
Pb > Cu >Ni > Cr > Cd. The analytical data indicates that all heavy metals studied are found to be in
excess than the prescribed limit in some water samples of the study areas as compared to World Health
Organization standards (WHOS) and toxicity reference value (TRV) for fresh water proposed by USEPA
except Ni.

The present study aimed toshed light on virus cytomegalovirus (CMV) and studing some
immunological parametersl including anticardiolipids antibodies and antiphospholipids antibodies also
measurment blood parameters and phagocytosis .Atotal of 380 blood samples were collected from
aborted women when admitted to Thi Qar hospitals and private laboratories. divide into 4 groups:
We found the significant differences (P≤ 0.05) between infection rates in aborted women with the
highest rate in the group 1 (84.21%) and the lowest rate in group 2 (3.42%), also the results showed
significant differences between the values of IgM reached the highest value IgM in group 2 (23.09%)
and the lowest value IgM in group 1(6.25%), while not show significant differences (P > 0.05) when
measuring IgG and when measuring both IgM and IgG.
The current results showed the decrease significant for hemoglobin Hb , blood volume compact
PCV and white blood cells WBC among group 1,2,3 compared with group 4(control group).
Differential counting leukocytes shows significant reduction in of preparing Neutrophil in first
three groups when compared with control at the possibility P ≤ 0.05, results also show a significant
increasing in the percentage of lymphocytes between groups 1 and 2 when compared with the control
group. the results showed increase of monocyte in groups 1 and 2 and 3 when compared with the
control group. Also the results of differential counting increase the proportion of Eosinophiles in
group 1 and a non increase in groups 2 and 3 when compared with the control group. Results didn't
show significant differences between the four groups in the proportion of basiophiles at a probability
level P >0.05.
As for the process of phagocytosis, the results showed a rise significantly in the coefficient of
phagocytosis in groups 1 the high is significant in both groups 2 and 3 when compared with the

Effect of temperature on some rheological properties of low-density polyethylene

This paper presents some of rheological properties of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) that Solute
into benzene with different concentrations and at a range of temperatures of 20 - 40oC. Density, flow
time and viscosity measurements showed that these properties increase with increasing the
concentration while all of them decrease with increasing the temperature.

Structural Properties of Nano (CdO) Semiconduction Thin Film Deposited by Spray Pyrolysis Technique

In this paper CdO films of 160 nm thickness were deposited onto glass substrates by
spray pyrolysis technique at 400 oC temperature. The structure of films where studied , X-ray
measurements showed that the polycrystalline film and have a grain size of 14.63 nm. As shown
images of atomic force microscope that the film surface roughness of 3.26 nm .The photo of
scanning electron microscope show that the film and free from cracks and holes have a superficial
homogeneity. The energy-dispersive X-ray analysis show that the film containing the pure and
elemental cadmium and oxygen only signifying purity film prepared.

This study was carried out to evaluate the bio-effect of 37 fungal isolates which isolated from compost
plant waste as soilless culture media and from rhizosphere of cucumber plants in its efficiency in
promoting growth of cucumber plant Cucumis sativus in plastic pots. The results showed that six isolates
of the total fungal isolates, as well as the isolate are : (A-12) A. flavus, (A-5) A. fumigatus, (A-S-7) A.
flavus, (A-7) A. fumigatus, (A-J-1) A. niger in addition to (T-13) Trichoderma hamatum, which considered
the best effective in promoting growth of cucumber plants according to plant growth criteria that studied
such germination percentage, number of rotting seed, number of health and rotting seedling, first true leaf
emergence date , relative content of chlorophyll, length and wet and dry weight of root and shoot and
vigour index (VI) of seed.

The present study were determined the concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbon using
spectroflurometer for sediment cores to eight sites ,six of them along Shatt Al-Arab estuary
(Qurna,Dear, Kerma ,Ashar, Abo Al-Kasseb and FAO) in additional to two stations at Khor Al-Zubair
and Um Qaser.Total petroleum hydrocarbons ranged (2.03-0.94) at Qurna, (8.8 to 1.2) al Dear, (9.22-
3.91 )at Kerma, (26.27-16.22) at Ashar, (18.54-3.7) at Abu Al-Kaseeb, (22.6-5.22) at Fao (6.75-0.96)
at Um Qaser and (4.85-1.11) μg/g dry weight at Khor Al-Zubair The high average concentrations
recorded in the Ashar (18.083) due to the presence of sources of oil pollution from the movement of
boats and ships and the presence of oil refineries such as Al-Amuftih and Abadan which affected the
areas, while the lower average were recorded in Qurna area (1.254) μg/g dry weight, because the
sources of pollution where few or almost non-existent, where no industrial activities that cause
pollution in the region in addition to being represented the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates
point and thus exposed to continuous washing. The analysis of the Total Organic Carbon were
analyzed and high percentage recorded in Ashar (1.614%) and the lowest recorded in the Qurna(
0.658%). The Grain Size of sediment were also analyzed and the silt loam was predominate in most
of the study areas.

Determiuation of antibiotics suscyptubility of Pseudomonas aeruoginosa Isolated from Al-Diwaniya teaching Hospital

In this study, 390 samples were collected from different sources from Al-Diwaniya teaching
Hospital during the period of November 2011 until March 2012 and the process of collecting
samples randomly for the purpose of knowing hotbeds of pollution Ps .aeruginosa, which was
one of the objectives of this study and the consequent of diagnostic procedures and preventive
and therapeutic clinical sample included 292, 98, an environmental sample ), Showed the
results of tests biochemical ownership of 50 isolates (39 isolates originating from clinical
samples and 11 isolates originating from environmental samples) for bacteria Ps. aeruginosa.
Drug sensitivity assay was carried out for all the 50 isolates of Ps. aeruginosa to 22 kinds
of antibiotics way the spread of the disk's Kirby - Bauer, were all isolates were resistant to at
least three classes of antibiotics, so I returned these isolates were multi-resistant Multy-Drug-
Resistent (MDR), also found isolates resistant to classes of antibiotics except One or two of
antibiotics studied so promised isolates with stiff resistance extensively-drug-resistant (XDR),
and tow isolates only resisted all antibiotics studied pan-drug-resistant(PDR).

Evaluation of Efficiency of Plant Extracts and fungal Culture Filterates in biological control of fungal growth associated withTomato and Okra seeds

The study included testing the efficacy of alcoholic extracts treatments for roots of alfalfa
plant(Medicago sativa L.)and rhizomes of turmeric(Curcuma longa L.)and fungal filtrates of Trichoderma
harzianum and Penicillum digitatum in the fungi that associated for Tomato and Okra seeds, and study the
effect this treatment in radial growth some fungi isolated from this seeds .
The results showed isolated several species of seed borne fungi of Tomato and Okra sterilized and
unsterilized,and idenitification six species of it with different frequency ratio, and this species are:
Aspergillus niger, Alternaria alternata, Fusarium solani, Fusarium oxysporum ,Curvularia lunata
,Penicillum notatum.
The results showed that there is signiference difficant in growth of tested fungi on soild culture
medium(PDA)in measuring with controlled treatment at level of possibility 5% and these fungi are A.
alternata,F. solani, C. lunata, and antagonistic fungal filtrates T. harzianum was the most effective on A.
alternata and F. solani The percentage of radial growth inhibition of this fungi at
concentration15%reached about(89.75-86.92)% respectivety,whereas alcoholic alfalfa extract was the
most effective extract on C. lunata about (88.46)and antagonistic fungal filtrates P. digitatum at
concentration 15% was the least activity among them with percentage of inhibition about(70.62-76.67-
73.95)% respectively.

This study was included identification of phytoplanktons in sedimentation basins in
purification drinking water stations of petrochemical and AL-Ribatt in Basrah governorate for
six month from September 2013 to February 2014 , Included measurements of some
physical , chemical and biological factors affected on phytoplankton growth with
measurement the concentration of some important nutrients ( Nitrate , Nitrite , Phosphate and
Silicate ) . This study also measurement the concentration of hepatotoxins ( Microcystins ) in
drinking water as the first time in Iraq .Study was showed dominance of phytoplanktons of
class : Cyanophyceae reach to 37.5 and 40 % in two AL-Ribatt and petrochemical company
station respectively followed by other calsses Bacillariophyceae , Chlorophyceae and
Euglenophyceae on arrangement. Nitrate concentrations in two station reach between 1.7 -26
μg /l , Nitrite 0.043 – 1.5 μg /l , Phosphate 0.01 – 0.42 μg /l and Silicate 10.1-57.6 μg /l .
significant differences are found between months in two stations . The quantitative study
was appeared that the mean number of non-diatoms algae range between 288-560 ×
103 cell / L in AL-Ribatt station and range between 352-496 × 103 cell / L in petrochemical
company station , while diatoms range between 33-118 × 103 cell / L in AL-Ribatt station and
between 33.84-118 × 103 cell / L in petrochemical company station . The concentration of
hepatotoxin ( Microcystins) in two station range between ( 0-2.86 ) μg /l the highly value
were recorded in September in AL-Ribatt station with non-significant differences between
two station while significantly between months month in MCs concentration at probability
levels p≤0.05 .

Study on the Effect of several concentrations of Antitranspirants , Salicylic acid and Irrigation Intervals on the density and distribution of stomata on the epidermis of Maize (zea mays L.) Cultivated in Diwanyia

The present experiment was conducted during the autumn of the year (2012) in the city of
Al-Diwanyia (Iraq). The goal of the experiment was to find the effect of different types of
Antitranspirants (each type with two Concentrations), Salicylic acid (with and without treatment) and
irrigation intervals (5, 10 and 15 days), and their interactions on the density and distribution of
stomata on the epidermis of maize (zea mays L.) .The experiment was designed in a randomized
complete blocks (RCBD), in a Factorial arrangement (3*2*7) with three replications. The Revised
Least Significant Difference (RLSD) at 0.05 probability level was used to compare treatments
means, whenever significant effects were evident.The Antitranspirants and Salicylic acid (first
treatment) as well as irrigation intervals were applied at (4- 5 fully expanded leaves) stage. While the
second application of Antitranspirants and Salicylic acid, was after a month, at the beginning of
tasseling ( 50%). Stomatal frequency and Stomatal index were measured and Results showed: (1-
The use of Reflectant antitranspirants (Kaolin and Magnesium carbonate) decreased Stomatal
requency and Stomatal index for both abaxial and adaxial epidermis, While the stomatal density
ncreased when the antitranspirant sodium salicylates was used. 2- Foliar application of Salicylic acid
increased Stomatal frequency for both abaxial and adaxial epidermis and Stomatal index for adaxial
epidermis., while it didn’t affect the Stomatal index of the abaxial epidermis. 3- Both Stomatal
requency and Stomatal index increased as the irrigation interval increased, and the irrigation of 10-
day interval recorded higher Stomatal frequency and Stomatal index for abaxial epidermis while the
irrigation of 15-day interval had a Significant impact on the adaxial epidermis.4- Triple interaction
between the three factors included in the experiment revealed significant effect on all parameters
studied.

The present study assess the level luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle stimulating hormone FSH
in the pituitary gland and testosterone hormone in the testes of male rats treated with thymoquinone.
Fourty eight Waster albino mature male rats Rattus norvegicus were 60 days old were randomly
divided into two groups equal , each group 24 rat and in turn divided into subgroups by 8 rat for each
group according to the length of time for the experiment, which lasted six weeks (every two weeks are
sacrificing a group of animals ), the first group of control represented where they were to follow
administration animals given a control group and one ml of physiological saline solution per day,
while the rest of the animal groups and given one ml of thymoquinone a concentration of 50 mg / kg
of body weight. The end of every two weeks is the sacrifice of a group of animals. The Pituitary gland
and testes also weighed for the purpose of knowledge of Members mentioned weights. The results
showed a significant increase (P <0.05) in weights of rats treated compared with the control group as
well as a significant increase in the pituitary weights and testes concluded that thymoquinone have
potent role in elevation of follicles stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, Testosterone hormone
related to reproduction and fertility.

Calculate of the spectral properties of vibration SiCl molecule by using the semi-empirical programs in method (MNDO/PM3)

In this research, the more important spectral properties of vibration SiCl molecule have been
studied and calculated by using the semi-empirical theoretical programs in method (MNDO/PM3).
The wave lengths of that vibrations have been calculated and symmetric both of them. Also, the
geometric space shape of ion has been calculated by using initial and final matrices that include bonds
length, the angle between bonds, dihedral angles and the charge of each atom in ion.
Total energy, Binding energy, Electronic energy, Core-core repulsion, Ionization potential and
Molecular weight have been calculated. Also, the curve of potential of ion was drawn where it depend
on the changing in bond length of (Si-Cl) verses the opposite energy value. In addition, the energy
value of molecular orbital was computed with calculation of the energy of the highest occupied
molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO).

The study was designed to see the effect of laser-type He-Ne with a wavelength of 632.8nm and
the power 2mw and laser Nd:YVO4 with a wavelength of 532nm and the power 4mW. The
projected laser on blood samples outside the body and showed results of the study high resistance
to red blood cells to the fragility of osmosis and low rate of decomposition with low
concentration of salts in solution prepared (Hypotonic Solution) can be concluded from current
research that lasers both types of He-Ne and Nd:YVO4 and power 2mW and 4mw its importance
in high resistance erythrocytes to the vagaries of the tension in the saline fluids.

Research include Effect of Mechanical properties of low density polyethylene (LDPE), which
is manufactured in the General state company of petrochemical industries, Basra, as function of
the percentages of serpentine mineral powder (0%,1%,2%, 3%, 4%,5% ), at particular size. (
250 m) were investigated through several variables, such as, strength, and elongation. The
obtained results were appeared that the added minerals act to reduce the spaces between the
polymer chains, which reflects the high ability of the polymer against the applied stress, and a
high degree of homogeneity between the host polymer and the added fillers, the results lead to
that the stress force behavior was better in percentage (1%) from composite, after decreasing the
percentage with increase the filler. The composite effect serpentine mineral filler fill materials on
Mechanical Properties of Low properties therefore stress force decrease in cutting, observed
tensile decrease in all percentage.

Naproxen Sodium Release from Poly(acrylic acid-co- N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) Hydrogels

Copolymer hydrogels of acrylic acid (AA) and N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (NVP), crosslinked with 1,4-butanediol dimethacrylate (BDDMA), were prepared by radical copolymerization. The chemical structures of copolymer hydrogels were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) and H NMR spectroscopy. The swelling ratio (Rs) was measured for four types of hydrogels structures, in three different media pH 1.2 , 4 and 7.4 at 370C as a function of time. A Naproxen Sodium is used as a model drug to investigate the drug release profile of the hydrogels. The concentration of drug released was measured on UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Results indicated that the swelling ratio and drug release is increase concentration decrease of crosslinked agent and pH increase.

Temperature Effect on the Effective Secondary Emission Coefficient for He and Ne Gases

The temperature of electron range 10-109 K is considered. The calculations have been performed in the framework of analytic fit parameters formula with no consideration of relativistic effects. Our results of RRC compared with the theoretical data available as a function of electron temperature, and the agreement was very good. Some data which had been depended showed a peak at high temperatures because of the influence of autoionizing resonance
