Isolation and Identification of Listeria .monocytogenes From Human and Animal in Al- Qadissiya Province

The aim of this research is to detect about the infection in Listeria.monocytogenes germ in human and animals in Al-Qadissiya province , oxford listeria selective agar used for isolating L.monocytogenes germ , so the special stimulator for growth of the germ was added to it in order to determine the type of bacteria , also it diagnosed an isolates for L.monocytogenes germ by using the microscopical examination and biochemical tests , furthermore the germ isolates was planted on blood agar for diagnosing the blood analysis type: B-heamolysis as affirmative checking for the isolates .This study was carried out during the period from November 2014 to April 2015, whereas samples were collected from women that suffered of abortion and infected children in the maternal and children hospital in Al-Qadissiya province , so the samples were collected under supervising of a specialist medicine , the number of taken samples of the women is 65 samples , while the number of taken samples of children is 32 samples , so the samples that belong to animals have included a gall bladder samples were collected from Al-Diwaniya slaughterhouse were 100 samples of sheep and 100 samples of cows.in addition to collect 200 samples of milk as 100 samples for each sheep and cows from different rural zones in al- Qadissiya province. The results of the research showed 9 isolates for L.monocytogenes germ have been isolated from human samples in percentage 9.27% of total amount of the human samples , whereas the isolation percentage in women infected in abortion is 4.61%, while the percentage of listeria germ isolation was higher in the children that infected in meningitis whereas it was 18.75%.As for the percentage of the isolating in sheep it was 4% and 7% for milk and gall bladder respectively. in cows the isolation percentage of the germ from milk and gall bladder was 2% and 3% respectively . So the the results of isolating and diagnosing listeria germ during the study period in human and animals were disparate , whereas the highest percentage of isolation were scored in the cold months of the year. We can conclude of the research results is that the percentage of infection in L.monocytogenes germ was high in human in al-Qadissiya province , in which refer to the risks of the diseases and health problems spread that could be caused by L.monocytogenes germ , also the results included isolating the germ from milk and gall bladder samples for sheep and cows that could be a source to carry the infection to the human by contaminating the meat, milk and its derivatives'.

Concentration of some trace elements in gills, liver and muscles of two species of fish in Al-Dwaniya river

The current study was conducted to determine the concentration of five trace elements(Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) in gill, liver and muscles of two species of fish Cyprinus carpio and Tilapia zilli ). from May(summer) 2013 up to April(spring) 2014 from three sites from Al-Diwaniya river.
The concentrations of trace elements (cadmium, copper, nickel, lead and zinc) in two species of fish in Al-Diwaniya river ranged according to organs in gills of Cyprinus carpio ranged from(0.63 – 2.07) )3.19 -3.90),) 4.04 –8.96) ,(1.95 - 3.76),) 182.14- 253.89) µg/g dry weight respectively, in liver from(0.41-1.78) , (6.20 - 32.47 ),(5.97- 10.39),(2.06-5.37), (136.15- 184.75) µg/g dry weight respectively, and in muscles from(0.49-3.43و),(2.82- 10.40),(7.17-11.57 ),( 0.61- 4.60 ),( 110.96- 160.46) µg/g dry weight respectively. and ranged in Tilapia zilli in gills from(0.44 - 1.15),( 1.06-6.83),(8.18 -13.97 ),(1.46- 2.89) ,(99.03- 155.33) µg/g dry weight respectively, in liver from(0.57-1.64 ),(13.08- 28.06),( 8.03-18.50), (1.32- 3.02),(112.68- 176.32) µg/g dry weight respectively, and in muscles(0.46- 1.80), (2.42- 2.93),(7.47-10.52),( 0.20 -3.16 ),( 79.74-153.58(µg/g dry weight respectively. And in the organs of fish was follow in Cyprinus carpio: gills> liver>muscle,while in Tilapia zilli was follow liver > gills >muscle.

The results of this study were including detection of Entamoeba histolytica in an in patients infected infants with diarrhea in born and childrenʾs hospital in Al-Diwania province during the period from June until December 2014, the number of samples was 170 stool sample for age between one month-two years, these samples were examined by direct smear method by using physiological normal saline and Iodine solution, there 88 samples were positive in percentage %51.76 also the lower percentage was %36.17 recorded in age 1-6 months and the higher percentage was %61.76 in age (1-6)-two years, wherever the percentage of an infected male was closely which reach %53.16 ,%50.55 respectively. According to type of feeding, the higher percentage was %59.79 in an infants with Artificial feeding compare with the percentage %41.09 in an infants with breast feeding, wherever the percentage of infection with parasite was %57.32 in rural region ,its higher than the percentage %59.46 in urban area, also the results were showed the percentage of infection with this parasite was %44.32 by using Real-time polymerase chain reaction as confirmative test .

Effect of Piper Nigrum fruit and Syzygium aromaticum roses extract on the some of Bacterial and fungal isolate growth

This research was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of hot water extracts of the fruits Piper nigrum and Syzygiumaromaticum in the inhibition of fungi and pathogenic bacteria. Where Results showed that hot water extract of Piper nigrumcaused 100% inhibition of fungi Aspergillusterrus, Candida albicans, Pencilliumspp.While it did not show any effect on other fungi under studied, results showed hot water extract of Syzygiumaromaticumcauses high percentage of inhibition of the direction of all fungi studiedat all concentrations except yeast Rhototorullaspp was attributed 50% inhibition concentration 50 mg / ml. The resist of bacteria tendency of some antibiotics and aqueous extract each of the plant Syzygium aromaticumand Piper nigrum has demonstrated a difference between the types of bacteria where damped antibiotic Alarthuromaysan bacteria Salmonella, Staphylococcus rate of diameter inhibition of 1 cm, either to extract hot water for the cloves where not recorded bacteria Proteus any effect in concentrations of 100 and 75 mg / ml. Compared bacterium Streptococcus pneumonia, where the rate recorded diameter inhibition 3,3.5, 4.5 in three concentrations, while Piper nigrum extract was given to the bacterium Staphylococcus aureusdiameter inhibition rate of 2.5 in the third focus either in the concentration of 100 and 75 mg / ml did not record any effect .

*A Study Changes of Some Bichemical Parameters During Experimental Infection with Eimeria tenella in Local and Foreign Breeds of Chicken

The study conducted in Animal house of the department of Biology, College of Education, Al-Qadisiya University during the period from 1/9/2013 to 1/9/2014. The study diagnosed the parasite of E.tenella in naturally infected chickens in poultry farms. E.tenella was isolated from the infected cases in Vet. hospital and Vet. clinics.Then,the cases diagnosed initially in the laboratory direct examining stool by ordinary microscope and the positive cases were recorded and diagnosed by yusing the technique of Conventional Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR). There are 315 cases of infected chicken which examined and the results showed that (186 out of 315) stool Samples,59%, The experimental infection for each experiment was done in age 21 day with dosage of (5×104) grown oocysts/chicken for E.tenella in two types of chickens(Ross and local breed) Also,two groups of uninfected chickens (control)for the sake of comparison.
The biochemical parameters of blood serum in Ross chickens showed that significant decrease (p<0.05) in glucose concentration (156.9811mg/100ml in the fourth week of infection), cholesterol concentration and total protein concentration (62.11, 1.92 mg/ 100ml respectively in the fifth week of infection).Also, Uric acid increased significantly (p<0.05) to reach(10.19mg / 100ml) in the fourth week of infection in comparison of uninfected chickens of the control group. The biochemical parameters of blood serum in local breed chicken showed the significant decrease (p<0.05) in glucose concentration (169.60mg/100ml in the fifth week of infection) , cholesterol concentration and total protein concentration (70.89 , 2.25mg/100ml respectively in the fourth week of infection). Uric acid increased significantly (p<0.05) to reach (7.62mg/100ml) in the fifth week of infection in comparison with the control group.

Study The mutagenic effect of Ultra violet on some Genetic indices in albino mouse

The present study aimed to study the mutagenic effect of ultra violet in albino mice by use some genetic indicators such as mitotic index(MI) and chromosome aberrations(CA) of bone marrow cells after exposure the animals to periods of Ultra violet irridation (0, 15,30,45)minute , The result showed non high significant difference in mitotic index of bone marrow cells in treatment T15 as compared with the control while the treatment T30 ,T45 caused a significant decreasing in mitotic index that reach to 8.3 , 7.6 as compared with the control. The treatment T15 caused non significant difference in chromosomal aberrations as compared with the control while the treatment T45 caused high significant difference as compared with the control and the other groups by increasing the rate of chromosomal aberrations that reach to 2.7 and the rate of aberration increase by increasing of exposure periods.

-Ability primer (OPF - 13) to determine the DNA nucleic acid DNA and excised from the livers of sheep when the molecular weight 300bp, 200bp, 400bp, 750bp and in cows 200bp,, 600bp, 700bp and was unable to identify any imprint hereditary in the DNA samples of the bags Aladrah excised of beauty.
-Ability primer (OPF - 19) to determine the DNA nucleic acid DNA of bags Aladrah excised from the liver of sheep at 500bp at the molecular weight 300bp and 500bp and beauty at 1300bp.
-Ability the primer (OPC - 10) to determine the DNA in the beauty at 1300bp and was unable to identify any genetic imprint in cattle and sheep.
-Ability the primer (OPF_ 16) to determine the DNA nucleic acid of the bags Aladrah in sheep when the molecular weight 300bp, 400bp, 500bp and 300bp when cows and camels at 500bp 600bp.
Finally, the study showed that the strains that affect humans have come from sheep and cows exclusively to the presence of fingerprints and genetic are shared between them can be detected using the initiators of OPE - 07 at the molecular weight 500bp and OPF - 13 at the molecular weight 300bp only, but this needs to be a larger study using the relay genetic Gen seqenses and all other pets near human.

*Effect of Age on growth and development of skeletal muscle in fore limbs of rat (Rattus norvegieus)

This study included acknowledge of the changes associated with the growth of skeletal muscle in the forelimbs in rats , as tested three muscles: Flexors and Extensors muscles and Triceps Brachii in 30 male of the laboratory rats and in three age groups , namely, (2 ) , ( 12 ) and ( 24) a month to see the changes that appear with aging in muscle weights and number and diameters of muscle fibers. and its constituent .the study revealed the following results:
-1in the first age group (2) month was measured the weight of body and weight of muscle of rats. And calculate the number of muscle fibers in muscles. And also measure muscle fiber diameters.
-2In the second age group ( 12) a month showed an three muscles increase in weight and fiber diameters , as the number of fibers increase in the Triceps Brachii muscle while decreased in each of the Flexors and Extensors muscles .
3-In the third age group ( 24) month showed an increase in three muscle weight. Increased muscle fiber number in the Triceps Brachii while decreased in the Flexors and Extensors muscles . and decreased fiber diameters in the Triceps Brachii and increased in the Flexors and Extensors muscles.

The efficiency of some pesticides aginst the house fly adults Musca

The effect of both of fungal test Chrysosporium keratinophilum Frey , pesticid Deltamethrin and the growth regulator Triggard in the adult fly( Musca domesticate L. ).The results showed that the concentration 3×107 spore/ml of fungal suspension caused highest mortality rate (83.33%) , while the lowest value was recorded at concentration 3×107 spore/ml which was 40% after seven days of treatment. The fungal filtrate showed highest mortality rate which was 90% at concentration 100% ,while lowest mortality rate was 43.33% at concentration of 25% after 72 hours. The mortality rate of adults treated in insecticid Deltamethrin were 90%, 83.33%, 66.66% at concentrations 0.6 ,0.3 and 0.1 ml/leter and size 5ml every 10 adults after 30 minute from treatment .Whill there have been no effect when treated the adult by growth regulator .

Phenotypic and molecular characterization of Streptococcus mutans bacteria isolated from the mouth and test their ability to form biofilms and their resistance to antibiotics

A total of 479 bacterial isolates were collect from 409 swabs from the teeth surfaces teeth and gingiva of the auditors admitted to the centers specialist and dental clinics in Al-Diwaniya city for different ages by specialist doctor on period from 1/11/2012 AC till 1/3/2013 AC.
Bacterial isolates diagnosed by Vitek compact 2 system to positive and negative gram stain head it Streptococcus spp. by highest percentage of 31.52%, followed by Staphylococcus spp. by 20.45% and Lactobacillus spp. by 12.52% and Candida spp. by 10.64%, and follow then some germs that made a few percentages compared to the bacteria mentioned, also S. mutans obtain among microbial species isolated from teeth surfaces and gingiva frequency highest in the number of isolates (56 isolate) and tested their on biofilm formations; then 44 isolation (44.64%) high formations, 16 isolation (28.57%) medium formations and 15 isolation (26.79%) non biofilm formations. The impact of carbohydrates appear apparent on S. mutans isolates in biofilm formations on bio-growth medium; then amounted to the presence of sucrose 35.71%, followed by glucose with fructose together in the medium (25.00%) then glucose (16.07%) and fructose (12.50%), while the percentage of carbohydrates absence in the growth medium 10.71%.
The drug sensitivity of S. mutans isolates were tested trend 11 antibiotic by using disks diffusion method which showed that the resistance of isolates to antibiotics was higher than the sensitivity of her as well as they were increase after biofilm formations; where resistant isolates convey to Erythromycin before and after biofilm formations (98.21 and 94.64)%, Amoxicillin (85.71)% each for both, and Ampicillin (80.35 and 83.92)%, Nalidixic acid (80.35 and 87.50)%, Cefotaxime (69.64 and 75.00)%, Chloramphenicol (69.64 and 89.28)%, Amoxicillin-Clavulanic acid (58.92 and 76.78)%, Gentamicin (57.14 and 78.57)%, Tetracycline (55.35 and 66.07)% each respectively, while showed high sensitivity to Amikacin (25.00 and 48.21)% and Trimethoprim sulfamethaxale (7.14 and 19.64)% each, respectively. 12 isolates elected tested from the 56 isolates of S. mutans; as a biofilm producer and more resistant to antibiotics and were containing 16s RNA gene was representing diagnostic gene for these bacteria using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique, results also showed DNA sequences of the conservative gene (16s rRNA) in isolates of S. mutans biofilm formations and by means of phylogenetic tree analysis for that gene, the similarity appeared between S. mutans local strain with Spain standard strain (AJ554208.1) in 14 and 15 nucleotide locations.

Bacteriological study of Salmonella isolated from clinical cases in Diwaniya and its effect on the blood picture and the mechanics of control

During the study Collected 462 clinical samples of adults infected with the bacterium Salmonella symptoms and both sexes reviewers for laboratories and hospitals in the city of Diwaniyah for the duration of 2012 11 6 to 2013 5 26.
Diagnosed isolates based on phenotypic characteristics and biochemical tests and AGRO and serological diagnostics in addition to the system by Api20E reaching 20 isolates of Salmonella isolation rate of 4.3% and the Cat, all belonging to thghe type S.typhi.
The research covered also study the changes that occur in some of the criteria vessels in people infected with the bacterium Salmonella and it turned out that there was a decrease in the total number of Red blood cells in people infected with Salmonella , where the total number of red blood cells 4.91 x 106 c ml , while the the rate of the total number of white blood cells 3.7 x 103c ml , The percentage rate for each type of white blood cell and formed lymphocytes (% 52.55) which is low compared with the normal number either the proportion of each of the cells Eosinophils and Monocyte to 1.2% , 2.9 % respectively, while the percentage of cells November Basophils % 0.03, and the rate of the amount of hemoglobin 9.07gdl which is low compared with healthy people.
Tested the sensitivity of the isolates S.typhi direction antibiotics used as were used (8) commonly used antidepressants in this study and found that bacteria were sensitive S.typhi by 100% of the Anti Ciprofloxacin, but resisted by anti- Ampicillin, Amoxicillin, Chloramphenicol, Tetracycline, Nalidixic acid, Gentamicin, Ceftriaxone and 80% , 85% , 70% ,70% .65% ,20% ,10% , respectively.

Laboratory studies on the effect of nano silver particles, organic fertilizer (Algastar ) and salicylic acid on vegetative growth parameters and oxidizing enzymes in Sunflower(Helianthus annuus L.) cv. Viki

The present experiment was perfomed from the period of 28/10/2013 until 4/12/2013 . In this experiment Sunflower seeds was soaked in 25 , 50 ml/ L nanosilver and 30 ,60 mg/L of salicylic acid and the resulted plants were sprayed by 0.75 , 1.5 g/L (Algastar) in addition to the control treatment during the third leaf stage to determine its impact on growth and shoot content of DNA , RNA and leaves content of oxidizing enzyme peroxidase and catalyase . CRD design was used in this combination of some nanosilver, organic fertilizer (Algastar) and salicylic acid with 15 treatments and 7 replications.This obtained results revealed as the following:Seeds soaking with 50 ml/L of nanosilver gave the highest positive effects in all vegetative growth parameters and the vegetative content of DNA,RNA and oxidizing enzymes (peroxidase and catalyase).while the effect of sprayed the vegetative growth with 1.5 g/L organic fertilizer showed significant increasing in all studied growth parameters . The combination of 50 ml/L from nanosilver with 1.5g/L of organic fertilizer revealed positive effect in plant height ,root length, , fresh and dry weight of shoot and root ,leaf content of total chlorophyll and,DNA,RNA and catalyase ,this combination did not have any significant effect on the dry weight of shoot and root and peroxidase .

Anatomical Study of the Transverse Sections to Stems, Petioles and Leaves of Melilotus Mill. and Scorpiurus L. Genera (Leguminosae) in Iraq

The current research was conducted anatomical study of the transverse section of stems, petioles and leaves Melilotus Mill. and Scorpiurus L. genera (Leguminosae) in Iraq, which included four species (M. alba, M. indica, M. messanensis and M. officinalis) of the first genus and one species is two variety (S. muricatus var. muricatus and S. muricatus var. subvillosus) to second genus.
Studied the anatomical characteristics of the stem and shape of transverse section unrealized lead in anatomical study from the rest of the other parts also studied the anatomical characteristics of petiole was shaped of transvers section taxonomic importance possible through the division of species on four groups according to the what helped to diagnose and isolate gender species. Transverse sections for the blades leaves showed taxonomic importance in terms of the thickness of the blade and the number of rows of the vascular bundle of moderation and the number of packets in each row and thick possible way for the diagnosis of gender species when the leaf characteristics showed the importance of the genera separation as well as species separation and had a number of palisade tissue layers importance in the separation of the species into two groups and the number of vascular bundles and form important in the genera separating from each other.

Studying the effect of Strontium Titanate on the Dielectric Constant of the Barium Titanate

In this study, the effect of adding strontium titanate (SrTiO3) on the dielectric constant of the barium titanate (BaTiO3) was investigated. For this purpose, the BaTiO3 powder was first prepared by mixing barium carbonate (BaCO3) with titanium dioxide (TiO2) and sintering by vacuum furnace at 1200 ºC under Argon. Then, the SrTiO3 powder was prepared by mixing strontium carbonate (SrCO3) with titanium dioxide (TiO2) and sintering at 1150 ºC. Different weight percentages (5-50 %) of SrTiO3 were added into the BaTiO3 and mixed for 72 hour to prepare different mixtures of (BaSr)TiO3 for electrical insulators. All samples of (BaSr)TiO3 insulators were compacted and sintered at 5 tons and 1350 ºC, respectively. The crystalline structural characterizations of the prepared powders as well as the (BaSr)TiO3 mixtures were analyzed by the X-ray diffraction (XRD). Values of the dielectric contacts and the bulk density for all prepared mixtures were measured. The results showed that the electrical insulators made from the mixture of 30 % SrTiO3 and 70 % BaTiO3 revealed the highest electric constant with a reasonable density.

Adenohypophysial mRNA Expression Level of GH Gene and Immunohistochemical Expression of Somatotrophs in Pregnant and Lactating Inhibin-α Immunoneutralized Female Wister Rats

Inhibins and activins are members of TGF-β superfamily associated with reproductive processes. The role of passive immunization against endogenous inhibin-α subunit on pituitary mRNA expression level of GH gene and immunohistochemical expression of somatptrophs during pregnancy and lactation in primiparous female Wister rats, has been examined in this study. Forty eight pregnant females were assigned to 2 groups (24 per each). On 5th and 10th day of gestation, control (C) was injected with saline (100μl, i.p.) and treated (INHA) was injected with inhibin-α antiserum (1µg in 100μl of saline, i.p.). Each group was allocated to 3 equal subgroups: pregnancy, delivery, and lactation, were sacrificed on day 16 of gestation, at parturition, and 11th day of lactation, respectively. At the end of each subgroup period, females were anesthetized, dissected and adenohypophysis was removed and kept at -70 Cº for molecular evaluation and others kept in formaline (10%) for immunohistochemistry. Pituitary GH gene expression levels in INHA group increased significantly compared with control in all periods. Expression of pituitary somatotrophs showed higher number of positive stained cells and intensity of staining in INHA group during pregnancy, delivery and lactation. In comparison between periods, in both groups, higher score has been shown at delivery, whereas lowest score recorded at lactation. In conclusion, passive immunization against inhibin-α subunit at 5th and 10th day of pregnancy, perform potent role in GH secretion in primiparous female Wister rats.

*Hypolipidemic effect of thymoquinone in heat stressed male rats

The present study has been conducted to investigate the hypolipidemic effect of thymoquinone in heat stressed adult male rats. Seventy two adult male Wistar rats (aged: 80 days, weighted: 162±5.6 g) have been divided into 4 experimental groups (18 animals each), and daily administered for 6 weeks with; drinking water (p.o) under normal ambient temperature (control group); drinking water (p.o) and daily exposed to high ambient temperature (35-40 ºC) for 6 hours (HS group), thymoquinone (50 mg/kg BW, po) and daily exposed to high ambient temperature (35-40 ºC) for 6 hours (HSTQ group), and thymoquinone (50 mg/kg BW, po) under normal ambient temperature (TQ group). At 2, 4, and 6 weeks, six males from each group have been anaesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of 0.3 ml of ketamin and 0.1 ml of xylazin /200 g bw, sacrificed, and blood samples were obtained from abdominal vein for assessment of serum lipid profile (total cholesterol; T-c, triglycerides; TG, high density lipoprotein; HDL-c, low density lipoprotein; LDL-c, and very low density lipoprotein; VLDL-c). During all of the experimental periods, significant increase of T-c, LDL-c, and VLDL-c concentrations have been recorded in HS group compared with control and TQ groups, whereas that of HSTQ group were significantly declined compared with HS group, but still they were significantly higher than that of control and TQ groups. TG and HDL concentration showed significant increase at the same periods. It can be concluded that 50 mg/kg b.w. of TQ suspention drenching for 2, 4, and 6 weeks perform positive role in ameliorating the different complications of oxidative stress produced by heat stress by induction of hypolipidemic effect

Antimicrobial activity of agent produced by Streptomyces spp.isolated from soil samples

Twenty two soil samples were collected from Hilla City. Twelve isolates of Actinomycetes were found. Eight isolates of Streptomyces spp. was detected according to morphological test on yeast malt extract agar. Theses isolates are positive for gram stain and having grey aerial mycelium and yellow-brown substrate mycelium. Activity of Streptomyces spp. isolates were tested against S.aureus. Streptomyces spp.6 was given higher inhibition zones (20)mm compared with low inhibition zone by other Streptomyces spp. isolates.Streptomyces.6 was chosen for agent extraction. Streptomyces spp.6 having grey aerial mycelium and yellow-brown substrate mycelium , unable for melanin production and able to ferment glucose, mannitol, sucrose, and negative for urea and catalase test. Agent was extracted from Streptomyces spp.6.Activity of agent was examined against clinical bacterial isolates. The results showed that this agent having antimicrobial activity against clinical isolates with inhibition zone about (12- 22 mm).

Detection of Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus Associated with Asthmatic Patients Using Tissue culture and Real time – Polymerase Chain Reaction*.

This study aimed to determine incidence human respiratory syncytial virus (hRSV) isolated from patients with asthma in Wasit province, Iraq. Blood samples were collected for measurement total and differential white blood cells (WBCs). Results showed total of WBCs and differential were significant (P<0.001) correlation in neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils and basophils counts among different groups studied. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique has been applied for detection of total-IgE antibodies. Results revealed that the highest total-IgE antibodies titer in sera were significantly difference (p < 0.01).. A total of 80 nasopharyngeal swabs were immediately dipped in transport media and stored until using for the detection of suspected hRSV patients group were used in real time – polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) from which 15 samples (18.75 %) out of 80 samples gave positive result for this test. The isolated hRSV 9 samples (11.25%) was cultured successfully on HeLa cell line, Cervical human carcinoma, as there were characteristic cytopathic effects observed in monolayer of cells line. All positive samples in tissue culture were confirmed by RT-PCR which indicated that the samples were positive for hRSV indicate cultured of it. The present of the virus in patients with asthma

*Effect of Phytase on Semen Quality in Adult Male Turkey

The present study has been conducted to examine the effect of micobial phytase supplimentation with diets on male reproductive performance in adult turkey tom. Forty adult turkey males (aged: 36 weeks, weighted: 3.755 ± 0.165 kg) have been assigned into two experimental groups (20 males each). First group has been fed on standard provinder for eight weeks and served as control, second group has been fed on standard provender supplemented with phytase (1000 PTU) for eight weeks and served as treated group. Two weeks intervals, semen has been collected from the males and semen analysis was qualified. After 8 weeks, male turkeys have been anesthetized and testis were removed, and testis weight and size were measured. The results of phytase treated groups revealed significant increase of testis weight and size compared with control. Semen evaluation of treated group recorded significant increase of ejaculate volume, sperm concentration, ejaculate sperm number, individual and mass sperm motility, and percentage of live sperm, whereas percentage of dead sperm and abnormal sperm recorded significant decrease in comparison with control. It can be concluded that dietary supplementation of microbial phytase has potent improvement role in reproductive performance of adult turkey tom

During the study Collected 462 clinical samples of adults infected with the bacterium Salmonella
symptoms and both sexes reviewers for laboratories and hospitals in the city of Diwaniyah for the
duration of 2012 11 6 to 2013 5 26.
Diagnosed isolates based on phenotypic characteristics and biochemical tests and AGRO and
serological diagnostics in addition to the system by Api20E reaching 20 isolates of Salmonella
isolation rate of 4.3% and the Cat, all belonging to thghe type S.typhi.
The research covered also study the changes that occur in some of the criteria vessels in people
infected with the bacterium Salmonella and it turned out that there was a decrease in the total number
of Red blood cells in people infected with Salmonella , where the total number of red blood cells
4.91 x 106 c ml , while the the rate of the total number of white blood cells 3.7 x 103c ml , The
percentage rate for each type of white blood cell and formed lymphocytes (% 52.55) which is low
compared with the normal number either the proportion of each of the cells Eosinophils and
Monocyte to 1.2% , 2.9 % respectively, while the percentage of cells November Basophils % 0.03,
and the rate of the amount of hemoglobin 9.07gdl which is low compared with healthy people.
Tested the sensitivity of the isolates S.typhi direction antibiotics used as were used (8) commonly
used antidepressants in this study and found that bacteria were sensitive S.typhi by 100% of the Anti
Ciprofloxacin, but resisted by anti- Ampicillin, Amoxicillin, Chloramphenicol, Tetracycline,
Nalidixic acid, Gentamicin, Ceftriaxone and 80% , 85% , 70% ,70% .65% ,20% ,10% , respectively.

The Effect Study of Using Different Concentrations of Chocolate Brown Dye (Chocolate Brown HT E155) on Some Physiological Parameters and Histological Structure of Stomach and Intestine on Albino Rats

The present study was conducted to check the effect of different doses of chocolate brown dye on
some physiological parameters(SOD, GSTs and MDA), and the concentration of amine transfer
enzymes (AST and ALT) and histological structure of stomach and intestines.
The current study experience forming of 20 rats, divided into four major groups; consisted of
each group from five animals which given each group a different concentration from chocolate brown
dye concentration for six weeks, as follows: The first group (control group C) animals doses by
normal drinking water, the second group (T1) animals doses by chocolate brown dye at the
concentration of 200 mg/ kg of body weight, the third group (T2) animals doses by chocolate brown
dye at the concentration of 400 mg/ kg of body weight and the fourth group (T3) animals doses by
chocolate brown dye at the concentration of 600 mg/ kg of body weight.
Results showed that a significant decreased (P<0.05 ) in body weight and the concentrations of
antioxidant enzymes (SOD and GSTs) in exchange for a significant increase in MDA and amine
transfer enzymes (AST and ALT) concentrations in animals groups (T1, T2 and T3) by increased the
concentration of chocolate brown dye compared with control group animals, as well as, occur
pathogenic textile changes in stomach and intestines of groups animals (T2 and T3) represented with
necrosis, cell death in intestines and stomach an cases of hemorrhage in stomach endothelial layer
induced by free radicals.
It was concluded from this study that the high dose of chocolate brown dye have some negative
effects on liver functions, some physiological parameters and histological structure of stomach and
intestines.

Bacteriological study ofGas gangerena among burns and surgery patients

The results of this study showed that the percentage of contamination with clostridium perfringens
bacteria in the burns wards were (32% ) out of ( 50) specimens samples and the highest rate of
contamination was in flooring these wards (50% ), followed by burns patients inflamed (40%) , either in
the surgery wards the ratio of pollution was (24%) and the highest rate of pollution which has been in the
family of the patients (40 % ), followed by flooring (30 % ) and inflamed wounds of patients (30 % ) as
well. Was isolated (28) the isolation of these bacteria were classified into four groups serology is the
group (A) by ( 39.8%) and B by ( 21.4%) ,c(21.4) and E (14.2% ) , and all isolates were isolated from
patients and exaggeration of ( 7) isolates produced enzyme Lecithinase which means the percentage
(100%) , while the (9) isolates of the total (21) isolated from the hospital environment (surgery and burns
wards ) were produced for this enzyme above a rate of ( 42.85% ) showed the results of toxicity testing in
laboratory mice that ratio percentage of the total toxicity shown by the bacterial isolates were (65.14%) ,
all isolates burns wounds were toxic at a rate (100%) , while the (28) isolation of isolates environment
was toxic also increased (39.28%) , that most isolates toxicity was the group followed by the ECB and
that there was a broad consensus between the productivity of these isolates poison Alpha ( enzyme
Lecithinase ) with toxicity in the White mouse .
